మార్కాపురం/డోర్నాల: రాష్ట్రంలోని సాగునీటి ప్రాజెక్టులను సకాలంలో పూర్తి చేసి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ను సస్యశ్యామలం చేయడమే కూటమి ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని జలవనరుల శాఖ మంత్రి డాక్టర్ నిమ్మల రామానాయుడు స్పష్టం చేశారు. Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu Veligonda Project Visit 2026 లో భాగంగా ఆయన మంగళవారం మధ్యాహ్నం నుండి బుధవారం మధ్యాహ్నం వరకు సుమారు 20 గంటల పాటు వెలిగొండ ప్రాజెక్టు టన్నెల్స్లోనే గడిపారు. అక్కడ జరుగుతున్న లైనింగ్, బెంచింగ్ పనులతో పాటు టన్నెల్-2లో చిక్కుకుపోయిన టిబిఎం (TBM) మెషీన్ పరిస్థితిని స్వయంగా పరిశీలించారు.

నరకప్రాయంగా వెలిగొండ పనులు – గత ప్రభుత్వంపై ధ్వజం: ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు ఇంత సంక్లిష్టంగా మారడానికి గత జగన్ ప్రభుత్వ అరాచక పాలనే కారణమని మంత్రి మండిపడ్డారు. రూ. 3000 కోట్ల పనులు మిగిలి ఉండగానే ప్రాజెక్టును జాతికి అంకితం చేయడం ప్రజలను దగా చేయడమేనన్నారు. టన్నెల్-2లో 12వ కి.మీ వద్ద చిక్కుకున్న టిబిఎం మెషీన్ తొలగింపుపై ఉన్న స్టేను తొలగించేందుకు జగన్ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రయత్నించలేదని, కానీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు అడ్వకేట్ జనరల్తో మాట్లాడి ఆ స్టేను తొలగింపజేశారని గుర్తు చేశారు. ప్రాజెక్టు నిర్వాసితులకు త్వరలోనే రూ. 900 కోట్లు అందజేస్తామని ఈ సందర్భంగా భరోసా ఇచ్చారు.
రక్తం పారించే వారు కావాలా? నీళ్లు పారించే వారు కావాలా? చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు రాష్ట్రాన్ని 2047 నాటికి అగ్రగామిగా నిలపాలని శ్రమిస్తుంటే, జగన్ రక్తం పారించే సంస్కృతిని ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నారని మంత్రి విమర్శించారు. “పొట్టేళ్లను నరుకుతూ ఆ రక్తాన్ని ఫ్లెక్సీలకు అభిషేకం చేసే గొడ్డలి పార్టీ కావాలా? లేక ప్రాజెక్టులు పూర్తి చేసి నీళ్లు ఇచ్చే ప్రభుత్వం కావాలా? ప్రజలు ఆలోచించాలి” అని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. 2027 పుష్కరాల నాటికి పోలవరం పూర్తి చేస్తామని, రానున్న రెండేళ్లలో ఉత్తరాంధ్రలోని 11 కీలక ప్రాజెక్టులను పూర్తి చేస్తామని మంత్రి ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

As part of the Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu Veligonda Project Visit 2026, the minister spent a record 20 hours inside the Veligonda project tunnels, from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday. His visit aimed to boost the morale of engineers and workers while closely inspecting the complex lining and benching works.
Exposing Past Failures: Minister Rama Naidu lambasted the previous YSRCP government for neglecting the project’s technical hurdles. He highlighted that while the TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) was stuck at the 12th km mark of Tunnel-2, the former government made no efforts to vacate the legal stay on its removal. It was Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who intervened through the Advocate General to clear the legal hurdles. The minister also announced that ₹900 crore would soon be released for the rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) of the project-affected families.
Vision for 2047 vs Political Violence: Drawing a sharp contrast, the minister stated that while CM Chandrababu Naidu is working toward “Viksit Andhra 2047,” Jagan Mohan Reddy is promoting a culture of violence. He urged the public to choose between a government that brings water to parched lands and a party associated with bloodshed. The minister further assured that the Polavaram project would be completed by the 2027 Pushkarams and 11 key projects in North Andhra would be finalized within the next two years with an investment of ₹2,000 crore.
