అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్త పింఛన్ల కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తున్న అర్హులకు కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం కీలక ప్రకటన చేసింది. ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చి రెండేళ్లు పూర్తి చేసుకుంటున్న సందర్భంగా, జూన్ 12వ తేదీ నుంచి కొత్త పింఛన్ల మంజూరు ప్రక్రియను ప్రారంభించాలని నిర్ణయించింది. AP New Pension Sanction June 2026 పథకంలో భాగంగా రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా లక్షలాది మందికి లబ్ధి చేకూరనుంది.

వితంతువులకు ప్రాధాన్యత: రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్తగా సుమారు 1.53 లక్షల మంది వితంతువులు పింఛన్ల కోసం అర్హులుగా ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు గుర్తించారు. వీరందరికీ నెలకు రూ. 4,000 చొప్పున పింఛను అందజేయనున్నారు. ఇందుకోసం ప్రభుత్వంపై నెలకు రూ. 61 కోట్ల అదనపు భారం పడనుంది. ఇప్పటికే భర్త చనిపోయిన సందర్భంలో ‘స్పౌజ్’ కేటగిరీ కింద 2.30 లక్షల మందికి పింఛన్లు అందుతుండగా, ఇప్పుడు నేరుగా వితంతు కేటగిరీలో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న వారందరికీ ఈ అవకాశం కల్పించనున్నారు.
దివ్యాంగులు మరియు ఇతర కేటగిరీల దరఖాస్తులు: కొత్త పింఛన్ల కోసం దివ్యాంగుల కేటగిరీలో ఇప్పటికే లక్ష మందికి పైగా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నారు. మొత్తం 28 విభాగాల్లో కొత్త పింఛన్ల కోసం సుమారు 10 లక్షల దరఖాస్తులు వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. వీరందరికీ పింఛన్లు మంజూరు చేస్తే ఏడాదికి సుమారు రూ. 4,899 కోట్ల అదనపు వ్యయం అవుతుందని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. అర్హులైన ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ సంక్షేమ ఫలాలను అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా జూన్ రెండో వారం నుంచి ఈ కొత్త పింఛన్ల పంపిణీని ప్రభుత్వం ఘనంగా ప్రారంభించనుంది.

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to provide a major relief to eligible citizens awaiting new social security pensions. Marking the completion of two years in office on June 12, the alliance government has decided to commence the disbursement of fresh pensions. Under the AP New Pension Sanction June 2026 initiative, the state aims to cover various categories including widows and persons with disabilities (Divyang).
Focus on Widow Pensions: Around 1.53 lakh eligible women have been identified for new widow pensions. Each beneficiary will receive Rs. 4,000 per month, involving a monthly expenditure of Rs. 61 crores for the state exchequer. While the government is already processing ‘Spouse Category’ pensions monthly, this new move will cater specifically to those applying directly under the widow category who have been waiting for approval.
Comprehensive Coverage and Budget: Apart from widows, over one lakh applications have been received from the Divyang category. Officials estimate that nearly 10 lakh applications may be filed across 28 different categories for new pensions. Fulfilling all eligible requests would require an annual budget of approximately Rs. 4,899 crores. The government is currently reviewing the financial reports and intends to ensure that no eligible person is left behind when the distribution begins this June.
