అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రాన్ని ఆరోగ్య ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌గా మార్చే లక్ష్యంతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు బుధవారం వైద్యారోగ్య శాఖపై కీలక సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా AP State Health Investment Policy 2026-31 ను త్వరలోనే తీసుకురానున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు. పీపీపీ (ప్రభుత్వ-ప్రైవేటు భాగస్వామ్యం) విధానంలో నిర్మించ తలపెట్టిన మెడికల్ కాలేజీల పనులను నెల రోజుల్లోగా ప్రారంభించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. మొదటి దశలో మార్కాపురం, మదనపల్లె, పులివెందుల, ఆదోని కాలేజీల పనులు మొదలుపెట్టాలని, రెండో దశలో మరో 6 కాలేజీలను పూర్తి చేయాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

సంజీవని ప్రాజెక్టు మరియు పాపులేషన్ మేనేజ్మెంట్: ప్రజలకు వైద్య ఖర్చులు తగ్గించేలా ‘ప్రివెంటివ్ హెల్త్’ విధానంపై దృష్టి పెట్టాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. సంజీవని ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా ఇప్పటికే 1.08 లక్షల మంది సేవలు పొందారని, దీనిని రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా శరవేగంగా విస్తరించాలని ఆదేశించారు. ఇదే సమయంలో రాష్ట్రంలో పడిపోతున్న సంతానోత్పత్తి రేటు (Fertility Rate) పై ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ప్రస్తుతం రాష్ట్రంలో ఫెర్టిలిటీ రేటు 1.5 కి పడిపోయిందని, దీనిని 2.1 కి పెంచడమే లక్ష్యంగా పనిచేయాలన్నారు. మైక్రో ఫ్యామిలీ సంస్కృతిని కాకుండా, ఉమ్మడి కుటుంబాలకు ప్రోత్సాహకాలు అందించేలా ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని అధికారులకు దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.

అమరావతిలో నేచురోపతి సంస్థ: రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని అమరావతిలో జాతీయ స్థాయి నేచురోపతి సంస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేసేలా కేంద్ర ఆయుష్ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖకు లేఖ రాయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. మెడికల్ టూరిజం, స్టార్టప్-ఇన్నోవేషన్, మెడ్ టెక్ ఉత్పాదనలు వంటి 7 పిల్లర్లతో కొత్త హెల్త్ పాలసీని రూపొందిస్తున్నట్లు సీఎం తెలిపారు. సమతుల్య ఆహారం, పోషకాహారంపై ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన కల్పించడం ద్వారా అనీమియా, డయాబెటిస్ వంటి వ్యాధులను అరికట్టాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has set an ambitious timeline for the transformation of the healthcare sector in Andhra Pradesh. Chairing a review meeting on Wednesday, the CM directed officials to ensure that the work on PPP-model medical colleges begins within the next month. The AP State Health Investment Policy 2026-31, structured around seven key pillars, will soon be launched to promote medical tourism, med-tech manufacturing, and healthcare start-ups. In the first phase, medical colleges in Markapuram, Madanapalle, Pulivendula, and Adoni will see immediate construction activity.

Sanjeevani Project and Population Concerns: The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of “Preventive Health Screening” through the Sanjeevani Project, which has already served over 1.08 lakh citizens. He noted that while digital services are being scaled, field-level execution must be impeccable. Addressing the demographic challenge, CM Naidu expressed concern over the falling Total Fertility Rate (TFR), which has dropped to 1.5 in the state, with Visakhapatnam recording the lowest at 1.32. He set a target TFR of 2.1 and suggested offering incentives to joint families to preserve the country’s social fabric.

Medicity in Amaravati: To bolster alternative medicine, the CM decided to write to the Central AYUSH Ministry to establish a National Naturopathy Institute in Amaravati. The proposed health policy also includes the development of ‘Medicities’ in Amaravati and V-ER. CM Naidu stressed that providing nutritional diet patterns based on patient records and promoting Ayurveda and Naturopathy are essential steps toward achieving a “Healthy Andhra Pradesh.” He urged officials to launch special drives against lifestyle diseases like Diabetes and Anemia through massive public awareness campaigns.
