తిరుమల రద్దీ: దర్శనానికి 18 గంటలు
తిరుమల పుణ్యక్షేత్రంలో భక్తుల తాకిడి అత్యంత తీవ్రస్థాయికి చేరుకుంది. తాజా Tirumala Darshan Update ప్రకారం, మే 17, ఆదివారం నాడు ఏకంగా 91,020 మంది భక్తులు కలియుగ దైవం శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామిని దర్శించుకున్నారు. వేసవి సెలవులకు తోడు వారాంతపు చివరి రోజు కావడంతో దేశం నలుమూలల నుండి భక్తులు తిరుమల గిరులకు పోటెత్తారు. స్వామివారి నామస్మరణతో ఏడుకొండలు మార్మోగుతున్నాయి.
ఆదివారం నాడు స్వామివారికి మొక్కులు చెల్లించుకున్న భక్తులలో 35,193 మంది తలనీలాలు సమర్పించారు. భక్తులు సమర్పించిన కానుకల ద్వారా శ్రీవారి హుండీ ఆదాయం రూ. 3.54 కోట్లు వచ్చినట్లు టీటీడీ అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. భక్తుల రద్దీ విపరీతంగా ఉండటంతో వైకుంఠం క్యూ కాంప్లెక్స్లోని మొత్తం 31 కంపార్ట్మెంట్లు భక్తులతో పూర్తిగా నిండిపోయాయి.

ప్రస్తుతం తిరుమలలో ఉన్న రద్దీ దృష్ట్యా టోకెన్లు లేని భక్తులకు సర్వదర్శనం (Sarvadarshanam) కోసం సుమారు 18 గంటల సమయం పడుతోంది. కంపార్ట్మెంట్లు అన్నీ నిండిపోవడంతో భక్తులు తమ వంతు కోసం సుదీర్ఘ సమయం వేచి ఉండాల్సి వస్తోంది. క్యూలైన్లలో మరియు కంపార్ట్మెంట్లలో ఉన్న భక్తులకు టీటీడీ సిబ్బంది నిరంతరాయంగా అన్నప్రసాదం, పాలు, తాగునీరు మరియు మజ్జిగను అందజేస్తూ సౌకర్యాలను పర్యవేక్షిస్తున్నారు.

Tirumala Crowd Alert: Over 91,000 Pilgrims Visit Lord Balaji as Summer Rush Peaked on Sunday
As per the latest Tirumala Darshan Update, a massive 91,020 pilgrims visited Lord Venkateswara on May 17, 2026. The hill shrine witnessed one of its highest single-day influxes due to the combined effect of the ongoing summer holidays and the weekend. TTD management has deployed extra personnel and volunteers to regulate the heavy influx of pilgrims effectively.
On Sunday, 35,193 devotees performed the ritual of tonsure (offering hair) as part of their vows. The temple’s Hundi collections reached ₹3.54 Crores for the day. Due to the exceptionally high volume of visitors, all 31 compartments in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex were fully packed with pilgrims waiting for their turn.

For pilgrims without SSD tokens, the approximate time for Sarvadarshanam (Free Darshan) is currently 18 hours. Devotees are spending long hours in the compartments before proceeding to the main shrine. TTD has intensified its efforts to provide essential amenities, including food, water, buttermilk, and milk, to the thousands of devotees waiting in the lines.
The rush is expected to remain steady throughout the upcoming week due to the peak vacation season. Pilgrims are advised to be prepared for the long wait times and the summer heat while visiting the shrine. TTD officials continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure a comfortable and streamlined darshan experience for all visiting families.
