శంకరపల్లిలో ఘోర ప్రమాదం: క్రేన్ కూలి ఐదుగురు కార్మికుల మృతి
హైదరాబాద్ శివారులోని రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా శంకరపల్లిలో సోమవారం సాయంత్రం జరిగిన ఘోర ప్రమాదం తీవ్ర విషాదాన్ని నింపింది. ఈదురు గాలులు, భారీ వర్షం కారణంగా సిమెంట్ ఇటుకల తయారీ కేంద్రంలో ఉన్న భారీ క్రేన్ ఒక్కసారిగా కుప్పకూలి, పక్కనే ఉన్న రేకుల షెడ్డుపై పడింది. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో ఐదుగురు వలస కార్మికులు అక్కడికక్కడే మృతి చెందారు.
సంఘటన సమయంలో సుమారు 17 మంది కార్మికులు షెడ్డులో తలదాచుకుంటుండగా ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగింది. క్రేన్ అకస్మాత్తుగా కూలిపోవడంతో కింద చిక్కుకున్న వారిని రక్షించేందుకు స్థానికులు, పోలీసులు తీవ్రంగా శ్రమించారు. ఈ ఘటనలో గాయపడిన మరో 12 మందిని చికిత్స కోసం ఆస్పత్రికి తరలించారు. క్రేన్ కూలిన ధాటికి భారీ శబ్దం రావడంతో స్థానికులు ఒక్కసారిగా భయాందోళనకు గురయ్యారు.
Five Workers Killed in Crane Collapse
A tragic accident occurred on Monday evening in Shankarpally, located on the outskirts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy district. Due to strong winds and heavy rain, a heavy-duty crane at a cement brick manufacturing unit suddenly collapsed and fell onto an adjacent shed. Five migrant workers died on the spot in this tragic incident.
At the time of the accident, approximately 17 workers were taking shelter in the shed. Following the sudden collapse, local residents and police worked hard to rescue those trapped beneath the debris. Twelve other injured individuals were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. The deafening sound of the collapsing crane caused panic among the local residents.

Relief and Investigation
Local police and rescue teams arrived at the site immediately and launched relief operations. Rescue teams faced difficulties cutting through the crane parts to extract those trapped inside. The deceased have been identified as migrant workers from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha.
The police have registered a case regarding this incident and are conducting an investigation. Concerns are being raised about safety standards at construction firms while officials look into the causes of the accident. Local residents are urging the government to provide appropriate support to the families of the deceased.
