అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు రేపు (ఏప్రిల్ 20) తన 76వ పుట్టినరోజును జరుపుకోనున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన సతీమణి నారా భువనేశ్వరి ఒక గొప్ప సేవా కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా పేదల ఆకలి తీరుస్తున్న అన్న క్యాంటీన్లకు ఆమె రూ. 76 లక్షల భారీ విరాళాన్ని ప్రకటించారు. ఈ విరాళం కారణంగా ఏప్రిల్ 20న రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న మొత్తం 269 అన్న క్యాంటీన్లలో పేదలకు, కార్మికులకు పూర్తి ఉచితంగా భోజనాన్ని అందించనున్నారు. “ఈ ఏడాది మీ పుట్టినరోజుకు మేమిచ్చే బహుమానం ఇదే” అంటూ ఆమె చంద్రబాబుకు జన్మదిన శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ఆకలితో ఉన్నవారికి అన్నం పెట్టడం కంటే మించిన సంతృప్తి మరొకటి ఉండదని ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు. గతంలో కూడా తమ మనవడు దేవాన్ష్ పుట్టినరోజు సందర్భంగా తిరుమల అన్నప్రసాదానికి విరాళాలు ఇస్తున్న విషయాన్ని ఆమె ఈ సందర్భంగా గుర్తు చేశారు. పేదలకు గౌరవంగా, పరిశుభ్రంగా కేవలం రూ. 5 లకే భోజనం అందించే ఈ వ్యవస్థను ప్రజలు, దాతలు కూడా ప్రోత్సహించాలని ఆమె పిలుపునిచ్చారు.

Chandrababu Naidu’s 76th birthday on April 20, his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari has made a generous contribution to the state’s welfare initiative. She has donated ₹76 lakhs to the Anna Canteens, reflecting the CM’s age and his commitment to public service. The Nara Bhuvaneshwari Donation Anna Canteens 2026 was formalized as she handed over the cheque to the CEO of Anna Canteens at the CM’s Camp Office on Saturday.
Thanks to this donation, meals will be served completely free of charge to the poor and needy across all 269 Anna Canteens in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. “This is our gift to you on your birthday this year,” Bhuvaneshwari remarked while conveying her wishes to the Chief Minister. She emphasized that providing food to the hungry is the ultimate form of satisfaction. CM Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the gesture and urged other donors to come forward and support the Anna Canteen initiative during their special life events. Currently, the government operates 269 canteens across the state, serving hygienic meals to over 2 lakh people daily at a subsidized rate of ₹5.
