మైనారిటీలకు రూ. 6090 కోట్ల భారీ బడ్జెట్ ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి ఫరూక్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు నేతృత్వంలోని కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం మైనారిటీల సంక్షేమానికి పెద్దపీట వేస్తోందని అన్నారు. దేశంలో ఎక్కడా లేని విధంగా ఈ ఏడాది మైనారిటీల కోసం రూ. 6090 కోట్ల భారీ బడ్జెట్ కేటాయించామని గుర్తు చేశారు. విజయవాడలో అన్ని అత్యాధునిక సౌకర్యాలతో త్వరలోనే ‘హజ్ భవన్’ నిర్మిస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. అలాగే, గన్నవరం నుంచి వెళ్లే ప్రతి యాత్రికునికి ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున రూ. లక్ష ఆర్థిక సాయం అందజేస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
మక్కాలో రాష్ట్రం కోసం ప్రార్థించండి రాష్ట్రం సుభిక్షంగా ఉండాలని, ప్రజలందరూ సుఖసంతోషాలతో జీవించేలా దైవానుగ్రహం ప్రసాదించాలని పవిత్ర మక్కాలో ప్రార్థించాలని మంత్రి యాత్రికులను కోరారు. ఈ ఏడాది ఏపీ నుంచి సుమారు 2000 మంది హజ్ యాత్రకు వెళ్తున్నారని, యాత్రికులకు ఎక్కడా ఇబ్బంది కలగకుండా వసతి, రవాణా ఏర్పాట్లు పకడ్బందీగా చేశామని హజ్ కమిటీ చైర్మన్ హసన్ భాష తెలిపారు. రేపు (ఆదివారం) రెండో విడతలో మరో 177 మంది యాత్రికులు బయలుదేరనున్నారు.

Amaravati/Vijayawada: In a significant move towards supporting the minority community, the first batch of pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh departed for the holy city of Mecca from Gannavaram Airport on Saturday. The AP Haj Pilgrims First Batch 2026, consisting of 156 pilgrims, was flagged off by Minority Welfare Minister NMD Farooq and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra. Financial Aid and Infrastructure Development Minister Farooq highlighted that the NDA government under CM Chandrababu Naidu has allocated a record-breaking budget of ₹6,090 crore for minority welfare this fiscal year. He announced that each pilgrim departing from Gannavaram would receive ₹1 lakh in financial assistance from the government. Furthermore, he promised that a state-of-the-art ‘Haj Bhavan’ would soon be constructed in Vijayawada to provide permanent facilities for future pilgrims.
Prayers for State’s Prosperity The Minister urged the pilgrims to pray for the peace and prosperity of Andhra Pradesh at the holy site of Mecca. Minister Kollu Ravindra added that the government’s welfare schemes reflect its sincerity toward the development of the Muslim community. A total of nearly 2,000 pilgrims are expected to visit Haj from the state this year. The second batch, comprising 177 pilgrims, is scheduled to depart on Sunday, April 19. Prominent leaders, including MLA Yarlagadda Venkatrao and Haj Committee Chairman Hasan Basha, were present at the send-off ceremony.
