భారీగా ఉపాధి – డ్రోన్ సిటీ ప్రాజెక్టులు: ఈ ప్రతిష్టాత్మక ప్రాజెక్టు ద్వారా దాదాపు 7,500 మంది నిపుణులకు ప్రత్యక్షంగా ఉన్నత స్థాయి ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు లభిస్తాయని ఏపీ సీఎంఓ కార్యాలయం వెల్లడించింది. ఏఎమ్సీఏ ప్రాజెక్టుతో పాటు, కర్నూలులో ప్రతిపాదిత ‘డ్రోన్ సిటీ’ మౌలిక సదుపాయాలకు, అనకాపల్లి జిల్లా టి. సిరసపల్లి వద్ద భారత్ డైనమిక్స్ లిమిటెడ్ (BDL) నావల్ సిస్టమ్స్ మాన్యుఫ్యాక్చరింగ్ ఫెసిలిటీకి కూడా వీరు వర్చువల్గా శంకుస్థాపనలు చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అత్యాధునిక క్షిపణులు, గ్రెనేడ్లు, యుద్ధ విమానాల నమూనాలతో కూడిన రక్షణ ప్రదర్శనను (Defence Exhibition) ప్రముఖులు పరిశీలించారు.

Puttaparthi: In a monumental step towards augmenting India’s indigenous aerospace and defence manufacturing capabilities, a landmark foundation ceremony was held in Andhra Pradesh. According to Chandrababu Naidu Rajnath Singh AMCA Project Puttaparthi 2026 reports, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh, laid the foundation stone for the ₹15,803-crore Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) infrastructure project in Puttaparthi, Sri Sathya Sai district, on Friday. Established by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) under DRDO, this complex spans over 650 acres and will serve as India’s premier integration and flight testing hub for its 5th-generation stealth fighter jet programme.
Boost to Employment and Aerospace Ecosystem: The mega aerospace project is slated to generate approximately 7,500 high-skilled direct job opportunities over its lifecycle, transforming the Rayalaseema region into a high-technology industrial zone. Alongside the AMCA project, the dignitaries also initiated grounding ceremonies for multiple defence components under the ‘Drone City’ initiative in Kurnool and a new Naval Systems Manufacturing Facility for Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) in Anakapalli district. Following the ceremony, the leaders inspected a specialized technology showcase displaying advanced weapon systems, military drones, and fighter aircraft prototypes.
Strategic Vision for India’s Self-Reliance: Speaking at the event, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh stated that the project perfectly aligns with the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, drastically reducing dependency on external testing ecosystems for national combat aviation. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that Andhra Pradesh’s proactive Aerospace and Defence Policy (2025-30) is positioning the state as India’s preferred destination for strategic deep-tech investments. With its strategic proximity to Bengaluru’s technological core, the Puttaparthi facility is expected to catalyze a broader economic and manufacturing boom across Southern India.
