నాణ్యత పరీక్షలు – టెక్నాలజీ వినియోగం: మద్యం నాణ్యత విషయంలో రాజీ పడకుండా విశాఖపట్నం, కాకినాడ, గుంటూరు, చిత్తూరు, కర్నూలులో అత్యాధునిక ల్యాబ్‌లను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. గతంలో ఏడాదికి 14 వేల పరీక్షలు మాత్రమే జరిగితే, ఇప్పుడు ప్రతి నెల సగటున 30 వేల ల్యాబ్ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ‘ట్రాక్ అండ్ ట్రేస్’ విధానం, ‘ఎక్సైజ్ సురక్ష’ యాప్ ద్వారా వినియోగదారులు బాటిళ్లను స్కాన్ చేసుకునే వెసులుబాటు కల్పించారు. గతంలో కేవలం 0.6 శాతంగా ఉన్న డిజిటల్ లావాదేవీలను ప్రస్తుతం 45 శాతానికి పెంచడం ద్వారా అక్రమాలకు అడ్డుకట్ట వేశారు. ఈ సంస్కరణల వల్ల ప్రభుత్వానికి 2024-25లో రూ.28,846 కోట్లు, 2025-26 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరంలో రూ.29,042 కోట్ల భారీ ఆదాయం లభించింది.

గత ప్రభుత్వ వైఫల్యాలపై ధ్వజం: గత వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో మద్యం వ్యవస్థను పూర్తిగా హైజాక్ చేశారని, నకిలీ బ్రాండ్లతో ప్రజల ప్రాణాలతో చెలగాటమాడారని ఎక్సైజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి కొల్లు రవీంద్ర విమర్శించారు. నాటి కల్తీ మద్యం వల్ల 2019తో పోలిస్తే 2023 నాటికి లివర్ సమస్యలు 52 శాతం, కిడ్నీ సమస్యలు 54 శాతం పెరిగాయని, గుంటూరు జీజీహెచ్ డీ-అడిక్షన్ కేంద్రంలో కేసులు 4,913కు పెరిగాయని లెక్కలు స్పష్టం చేస్తున్నాయన్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం కూటమి ప్రభుత్వంలో అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రీమియం బ్రాండ్లతో పాటు రూ.99 కే నాణ్యమైన బ్రాండ్‌ను అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చి నాటు సారాను అరికట్టామని, గంజాయి నిర్మూలన కోసం 2 శాతం బడ్జెట్‌తో ‘ఈగిల్ టీమ్స్’ ఏర్పాటు చేశామని మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు.

Digital payments at counters shot up from a meager 0.6% during the previous term to 45% today. This financial transparency resulted in substantial state revenues, touching ₹28,846 crores in 2024-25 and ₹29,042 crores in the 2025-26 fiscal year.

Scathing Counter to Previous Governance: State Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra heavily criticized the previous YSRCP government, stating that they hijacked the system with unknown local brands, banned digital payments to promote cash hoarding, and put public health in jeopardy. Citing the National Family Health Survey and hospital data, he noted that between 2019 and 2023, liver diseases rose by 52%, kidney issues by 54%, and Guntur GGH de-addiction cases spiked to 4,913 due to poor liquor quality. The current government has countered this by introducing premium global brands, establishing 11 premium stores, making budget quality brands available at ₹99, and deploying ‘Eagle Teams’ with a dedicated 2% budget allocation to curb marijuana smuggling.
