అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో భానుడు భగభగలాడుతున్నాడు. ఎండ తీవ్రతకు తోడు వడగాల్పులు ప్రజలను ఉక్కిరిబిక్కిరి చేస్తున్నాయి. రాష్ట్ర విపత్తుల నిర్వహణ సంస్థ ఎండీ ప్రఖర్ జైన్ తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం, ఏప్రిల్ 26 (ఆదివారం) నాడు రాష్ట్రంలోని మొత్తం 23 మండలాల్లో వడగాల్పులు వీచే అవకాశం ఉంది. ముఖ్యంగా ఉత్తరాంధ్ర జిల్లాల్లో ఎండల తీవ్రత అధికంగా ఉంటుందని అధికారులు హెచ్చరించారు.

ప్రభావితమయ్యే మండలాల వివరాలు: వడగాల్పుల ప్రభావం ఎక్కువగా ఉండే మండలాలను పరిశీలిస్తే..

• విజయనగరం జిల్లా: బాడంగి, బొబ్బిలి, దత్తిరాజేరు, మెంటాడ, రామభద్రాపురం, వంగర (మొత్తం 6 మండలాలు).
• పార్వతీపురం మన్యం జిల్లా: బలిజిపేట, గరుగుబిల్లి, గుమ్మలక్ష్మీపురం, జియ్యమ్మవలస, కొమరాడ, కురుపాం, మక్కువ, పాచిపెంట, పార్వతీపురం, సాలూరు, సీతానగరం, వీరఘట్టం (మొత్తం 12 మండలాలు).
• అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు జిల్లా: జికే వీధి మండలం.
• పోలవరం జిల్లా (ఏలూరు): చింతూరు, కూనవరం, వరరామచంద్రాపురం, గుర్తేడు మండలాలు.

వీటితో పాటు శనివారం నాడు కర్నూలులో 44.8°C, కడపలో 44.2°C గరిష్ట ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదయ్యాయి. 18 జిల్లాల్లోని 172 మండలాల్లో ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు 41 డిగ్రీల మార్కును దాటేశాయి.

అధికారుల సూచనలు – తీసుకోవాల్సిన జాగ్రత్తలు: ఎండ తీవ్రత, ఉక్కపోత దృష్ట్యా ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు.

• మధ్యాహ్నం 11 నుండి సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల వరకు అత్యవసరమైతే తప్ప బయటకు రాకూడదు.
• బయటకు వెళ్ళేటప్పుడు టోపీలు, గొడుగులు ధరించాలి మరియు చెవుల్లోకి వేడిగాలి వెళ్ళకుండా జాగ్రత్త పడాలి.
• శరీరంలో నీటి శాతం తగ్గకుండా నిమ్మకాయ నీరు, మజ్జిగ, కొబ్బరి నీరు మరియు మంచినీరు ఎక్కువగా తీసుకోవాలి.
• గుండె సంబంధిత వ్యాధులు, మధుమేహం మరియు బీపీ ఉన్నవారు ఎండలో తిరగకుండా జాగ్రత్త వహించాలని వైద్య నిపుణులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has issued a severe heatwave warning for Sunday, April 26, 2026. According to APSDMA Managing Director Prakhar Jain, as many as 23 mandals across the state are expected to experience intense hot winds and high temperatures. Residents, particularly in North Coastal Andhra, are urged to remain cautious as the mercury continues to climb.

Affected Regions and Mandals: The heatwave is expected to be most severe in the following districts:

• Vizianagaram: 6 mandals including Badangi, Bobbili, Dattirajeru, Mentada, Ramabhadrapuram, and Vangara.
• Parvathipuram Manyam: 12 mandals including Salur, Palakonda, Kurupam, Parvathipuram, and others.
• Alluri Sitarama Raju & Polavaram Region: GK Veedhi, Chintoor, Kunavaram, and VR Puram.

On Saturday, Kurnool recorded a scorching 44.8°C, while Kadapa followed with 44.2°C. Out of 28 districts, 172 mandals reported temperatures exceeding 41°C.

Health Advisory and Precautions: Authorities have shared a detailed advisory to prevent heat-related illnesses:

• Avoid outdoor activities between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
• Use protective gear such as hats, caps, and high-quality sunglasses when stepping out.
• Stay hydrated by consuming natural fluids like buttermilk, lemon water, and coconut water.
• Farmers and laborers are cautioned against seeking shelter under trees during potential thunderstorms as lightning activity is also predicted in some coastal pockets. People with comorbidities should strictly avoid direct sun exposure.
