డేటా సెంటర్ల హబ్గా ఏపీ: డేటా సెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటుతో పాటు వాటికి అవసరమైన కూలింగ్ పరికరాల తయారీలో ఏపీ అగ్రగామిగా నిలవాలని లోకేష్ ఆకాంక్షించారు. “డేటా సెంటర్ కాంపోనెంట్స్ తయారీ అనేది భారతదేశానికి తదుపరి ‘ఫార్మా రంగం’ కాబోతోంది. 2027 నాటికి దేశంలో ఉత్పత్తి అయ్యే ఏసీల్లో 60 శాతం ఏపీ నుంచే రానున్నాయి” అని ఆయన ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేశారు. కేవలం పరిశ్రమల స్థాపనే కాకుండా, పరిశోధన మరియు అభివృద్ధి (R&D) కేంద్రాలను కూడా ఏపీలో ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని క్యారియర్ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులను ఆయన కోరారు.
2.4 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థే లక్ష్యం: ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు విజన్ ప్రకారం 2047 నాటికి ఏపీని 2.4 ట్రిలియన్ డాలర్ల ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని లోకేష్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఐదేళ్లలో 20 లక్షల ఉద్యోగాల కల్పనే ధ్యేయంగా కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని తెలిపారు. ఏపీలో ప్రస్తుతం ‘డబుల్ ఇంజన్ బుల్లెట్ రైన్ సర్కార్’ నడుస్తోందని, పెట్టుబడిదారులకు ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని విధాలా అండగా ఉంటుందని భరోసా ఇచ్చారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో క్యారియర్ గ్లోబల్ సీఈవో డేవిడ్ ఎల్ గిట్లిన్, మంత్రి అనగాని సత్యప్రసాద్, శ్రీసిటీ ఎండీ రవీంద్ర సన్నారెడ్డి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Sri City: Minister for IT, Electronics, and Education Nara Lokesh heralded a new era for industrial growth in Andhra Pradesh by laying the foundation stone for Carrier Global’s new manufacturing unit. Vision for a Global Manufacturing Hub: Minister Lokesh emphasized that Sri City is a stellar example of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Made in AP.’ He noted that by 2027, Andhra Pradesh aims to contribute 60% of India’s total AC production, increasing to 80% by 2028. Beyond just hosting data centers, Lokesh envisions AP as a global supplier of data center cooling equipment and components. “Data center component manufacturing could be the next Pharma sector for India, and AP is leading that charge,” he said.
Economic Goals and Employment: The Minister reiterated the state’s ambitious target of becoming a $2.4 trillion economy by 2047. Under the leadership of CM Chandrababu Naidu, the government is committed to creating 20 lakh jobs within five years. Lokesh highlighted the ‘Speed of Doing Business’ in the state, assuring investors that the government is just a “WhatsApp message away” for any assistance. Carrier Global CEO David Gitlin and other senior officials attended the ceremony, marking a significant step in AP’s journey toward becoming a global manufacturing powerhouse.
