హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో ఆర్టీసీ సమ్మె రెండో రోజుకు చేరుకోవడంతో రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా రవాణా వ్యవస్థపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం పడింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సమ్మెను విరమింపజేసేందుకు రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం ముమ్మర ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తోంది. TGSRTC Salary Revision 10 Percent Fitment 2026 అంశంపై ఆర్టీసీ యాజమాన్యం తాజాగా ప్రభుత్వానికి కొన్ని కీలక ప్రతిపాదనలు సమర్పించింది. దీనిపై ఈరోజు జరగనున్న రాష్ట్ర మంత్రివర్గ (Cabinet) సమావేశంలో తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది.

Hyderabad: As the TGSRTC workers’ strike entered its second day, the Telangana government has intensified efforts to resolve the deadlock. To appease the striking unions, the RTC management has submitted critical proposals regarding the TGSRTC Salary Revision 10 Percent Fitment 2026. These proposals are set to be discussed in the high-level Cabinet meeting scheduled for today.
Key Proposals on Fitment: While the workers are demanding the implementation of 2021 and 2025 pay revisions, the RTC management has suggested a fitment ranging between 5% to 8%, with a maximum cap of 10%. The report, currently with the Chief Minister’s Office, also outlines suggestions for revised work hours and the settlement of pending dues. The Cabinet is expected to deliberate on the financial feasibility of these hikes in view of the corporation’s existing debt.
JAC’s Stand and Demands: The RTC Joint Action Committee (JAC) remains firm on its stance, stating that the strike will continue until their core demands are met. Beyond the salary revision, the JAC is pushing for the full merger of RTC with the government, implementation of the 2017 PRC, and a strict 8-hour work shift. They have also requested a 3% budgetary allocation for the corporation. While the government-appointed committee has asked for more time to evaluate these demands, the workers are insisting on immediate fulfillment of election manifesto promises. A favorable decision in today’s Cabinet meet could potentially lead to the calling off of the strike.
