కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు: హైకోర్టు తీర్పుపై లీగల్ ఒపీనియన్ తీసుకుంటున్న సర్కార్
కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టులో అవకతవకల ఆరోపణలపై విచారణ కోసం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన జస్టిస్ పీసీ ఘోష్ కమిషన్ రిపోర్టును హైకోర్టు నిలిపివేయడంతో, తదుపరి కార్యాచరణపై తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి సారించింది. ఈ కీలక పరిణామం నేపథ్యంలో కోర్టు తీర్పుపై ప్రభుత్వం లీగల్ ఒపీనియన్ తీసుకుంటోంది.
ఈ అంశంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఇప్పటికే మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డితో చర్చలు జరిపారు. సుప్రీంకోర్టుకు వెళ్లడం లేదా కొత్త కమిషన్ను నియమించడం వంటి అంశాలను ప్రభుత్వం పరిశీలిస్తున్నట్లు సమాచారం. హైకోర్టు పూర్తి తీర్పును పరిశీలించిన తర్వాత తదుపరి చర్యలపై స్పష్టమైన నిర్ణయం తీసుకోనున్నారు.
కేబినెట్ భేటీలో కీలకాంశాలు హైకోర్టు తీర్పుపై రేపు జరగనున్న కేబినెట్ సమావేశంలో చర్చించనున్నారు. ఈ సమావేశానికి అడ్వకేట్ జనరల్ను హాజరుకావాలని ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది. కేబినెట్ చర్చల తర్వాత కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుకు సంబంధించిన తదుపరి నిర్ణయం వెలువడే అవకాశం ఉంది.
గతంలో బీఆర్ఎస్ అధినేత కేసీఆర్, మాజీ మంత్రి హరీష్ రావులకు ఈ తీర్పు ఊరటనిచ్చింది. కమిషన్ నిబంధనలు పాటించలేదని పేర్కొంటూ, ఆ నివేదిక ఆధారంగా ఎటువంటి చర్యలు తీసుకోవద్దని హైకోర్టు ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. దీంతో ప్రభుత్వం తన వ్యూహాలను సిద్ధం చేస్తోంది.

Previously, this verdict provided relief to BRS chief KCR and former minister Harish Rao. The High Court had cited non-compliance with commission rules and directed that no actions be taken based on the report, forcing the government to recalibrate its approach.
