కార్మికుల దినోత్సవం రోజున శుభాకాంక్షలు చెప్పాల్సింది పోయి, ఇలా ధరల భారంతో ప్రజలను ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేయడం దుర్మార్గమని కేటీఆర్ పేర్కొన్నారు. దేశంలో పెరుగుతున్న ద్రవ్యోల్బణాన్ని అదుపు చేయడంలో కేంద్రం విఫలమైందని, దీనివల్ల సామాన్య మధ్యతరగతి కుటుంబాల బడ్జెట్ తలకిందులవుతోందని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

కేంద్రం తక్షణమే పెంచిన ధరలను తగ్గించాలని, మేడే నాడు ఇచ్చిన ఈ చేదు కానుకను ఉపసంహరించుకోవాలని ఆయన డిమాండ్ చేశారు. లేనిపక్షంలో ప్రజల తరపున బీఆర్ఎస్ పెద్ద ఎత్తున పోరాటాలు నిర్వహిస్తుందని హెచ్చరించారు. ఈ ధరల పెరుగుదల పట్ల సామాన్య ప్రజల్లోనూ తీవ్ర వ్యతిరేకత వ్యక్తమవుతోందని ఆయన గుర్తు చేశారు.
