Priority for Agriculture and Aqua Sectors: With the Rabi harvest and Aqua farming in critical stages, the Minister directed the Agriculture and Revenue departments to ensure a steady supply of diesel to farmers. “Most complaints on the 1967 toll-free number are about bunks refusing to sell available stock. Since oil companies are dispatching loads rapidly, officials must ensure it reaches the consumers directly,” Manohar stated. He highlighted that farmers should not face any hurdles during this peak season.
Success of Fuel Rationing: Minister Manohar noted that the fuel rationing system introduced by the government has yielded positive results. He mentioned that the public response to this controlled distribution has been encouraging. The Minister ordered the continuation of the rationing system until normalcy is restored in all districts. He called for seamless coordination between officials and oil companies to prevent any further distress to vehicle owners and the farming community.
