అగ్ని-6 ప్రత్యేకతలు: అగ్ని-6 క్షిపణిని ఖండాంతర బాలిస్టిక్ క్షిపణి (ICBM)గా పరిగణిస్తున్నారు. దీని పరిధి సుమారు 10,000 కిలోమీటర్ల నుండి 12,000 కిలోమీటర్ల వరకు ఉంటుందని అంచనా. ప్రస్తుతం భారత్ వద్ద ఉన్న అగ్ని-5 పరిధి 5,000-5,500 కి.మీ మాత్రమే. అగ్ని-6 కేవలం పరిధిలోనే కాకుండా, అత్యాధునిక MIRV (Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle) సాంకేతికతను కలిగి ఉంటుంది. దీనివల్ల ఒకే క్షిపణి ద్వారా వేర్వేరు లక్ష్యాలపై పలు అణు బాంబులను ఏకకాలంలో ప్రయోగించే వీలుంటుంది. ఇది శత్రు దేశాల క్షిపణి రక్షణ వ్యవస్థలను (Missile Defence Systems) సులభంగా ఛేదించగలదు.
