ఎనర్జీ యూనివర్శిటీ మరియు పరిశోధనలు: విద్యుత్ రంగంలో వస్తున్న ప్రపంచ స్థాయి మార్పులను అధ్యయనం చేయడానికి ప్రత్యేకంగా ‘ఎనర్జీ యూనివర్శిటీ’ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి నిర్ణయించారు. ఇంధన రంగంలో పరిశోధన (R&A) కోసం ట్రాన్స్‌కో, జెన్‌కో సంస్థలు తమ సీఎస్సార్ (CSR) నిధులను కేటాయించాలని సూచించారు. 2028-29 నాటికి రాష్ట్రంలో సగానికి పైగా విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తి పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధనం (Renewable Energy) ద్వారానే జరగాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకోవాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. పర్యావరణ హితమైన విద్యుత్ ఉత్పత్తికి ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలని పంప్డ్ స్టోరేజీ విధానంపై దృష్టి సారించాలని కోరారు.

Boosting Solar Power and EV Infrastructure: Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the CM instructed officials to expedite the process and aim for 2 lakh solar rooftop connections every month. He also set a deadline to complete the first phase of the PM KUSUM scheme by December 2026. To promote sustainable transport, the Chief Minister ordered the large-scale establishment of EV charging stations across the state and called for extensive public awareness campaigns on electric vehicle usage.
