Addressing concerns over women’s safety, the Home Minister referenced the Sandeshkhali and R G Kar incidents, promising an environment where women could travel safely at any hour. He concluded by stating that the BJP’s goal is the empowerment of Bengal’s youth, contrasting it with Mamata Banerjee’s alleged focus on promoting her nephew. Shah assured the crowd that the next Chief Minister would be a “son of the soil” who would prioritize the state’s progress over partisan interests.
