విజయవాడ: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అవినీతి నిరోధక శాఖ (ACB) అధికారులు మరో భారీ అవినీతి తిమింగలాన్ని పట్టుకున్నారు. విజయవాడలోని రాష్ట్ర పన్నుల శాఖలో అటెండర్గా పనిచేస్తున్న కొండపల్లి శ్రీనివాసరావు నివాసాలపై శుక్రవారం ఏకకాలంలో దాడులు నిర్వహించిన అధికారులు, బయటపడిన ఆస్తులను చూసి విస్తుపోయారు. లంచం కేసుతో మొదలైన నిఘా: గత ఏడాది అక్టోబర్ 16న రూ. 16,000 లంచం తీసుకుంటూ శ్రీనివాసరావు ఏసీబీకి రెడ్ హ్యాండెడ్గా పట్టుబడ్డారు. ప్రస్తుతం సస్పెన్షన్లో ఉన్న ఆయనపై నిఘా ఉంచిన అధికారులు, ఆదాయానికి పొంతన లేని విధంగా ఆస్తులు కూడబెట్టినట్లు గుర్తించారు. ఈ క్రమంలో విజయవాడలోని ఆయన నివాసం సహా మూడు ప్రాంతాల్లో సోదాలు నిర్వహించారు. పట్టుబడిన ఆస్తుల్లో ఒక నివాస భవనం, ఒక ఇంటి స్థలంతో పాటు సుమారు 760 గ్రాముల బంగారం (5 గోల్డ్ బిస్కెట్లు), 7.8 కిలోల వెండి మరియు బ్యాంకు ఖాతాల్లో రూ. 22 లక్షల నగదు ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.
కుటుంబ సభ్యుల పేర్లపై ఆస్తులు: శ్రీనివాసరావు 1986లో సర్వీసులో చేరి, సుదీర్ఘ కాలంగా కృష్ణా జిల్లాలోని పలు కార్యాలయాల్లో పనిచేశారు. ఈ క్రమంలో ఆయన సంపాదించిన అక్రమ ఆస్తులన్నీ తన భార్య మరియు కుమారుడి పేర్లపై రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ చేసినట్లు ఏసీబీ గుర్తించింది. ఇంట్లోని విలువైన ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ వస్తువులు, రెండు మోటార్ సైకిళ్లను కూడా అధికారులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. నిందితుడిపై అవినీతి నిరోధక చట్టం కింద కేసు నమోదు చేసి విచారణ కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు. ఎవరైనా లంచం డిమాండ్ చేస్తే 1064 టోల్ ఫ్రీ నంబర్కు ఫిర్యాదు చేయాలని ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏసీబీ ప్రజలకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేసింది.

Vijayawada: In a shocking discovery, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted simultaneous raids on the properties of Kondapalli Srinivasa Rao, an attender in the State Tax Department. The officials were stunned to find significant quantities of gold and silver in the possession of a Class-IV employee.
From Bribery to Disproportionate Assets: Srinivasa Rao’s downfall began last October when he was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹16,000. Following his suspension, the ACB kept a close watch on his financial dealings, leading to Friday’s massive raids across three locations. The seized assets include a residential building, an open plot, 760 grams of gold (including five gold biscuits), and 7.8 kg of silver. Furthermore, officials found ₹22 lakhs in various bank accounts along with luxury electronic goods and two motorcycles.
Long Career Pattern of Corruption: Having joined the government service in 1986, Srinivasa Rao worked in various offices across the erstwhile Krishna district. The ACB identified that most of the illegal assets were registered under the names of his wife and son. At the time of his initial arrest, he was stationed at the Assistant Commissioner’s office in Governorpet. The ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and is continuing the investigation. The bureau also reminded the public to report any bribery demands through their toll-free helpline, 1064.
