ఈ నాలుగు వారాల ప్రత్యేక ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా మొదటి వారంలో అన్ని ప్రధాన రహదారులు, బహిరంగ ప్రదేశాల శుభ్రతను చేపట్టనున్నారు. రెండవ వారంలో స్థానిక ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యంతో డ్రైనేజీలు, కాలువల క్లీనింగ్ పనులను నిర్వహిస్తారు. గత ప్రభుత్వం రాష్ట్రంలో వదిలేసిన సుమారు 153 లక్షల టన్నుల లెగసీ వ్యర్థాలలో, గ్రౌండ్ పైన ఉన్న 85 లక్షల టన్నుల చెత్తను రికార్డు స్థాయిలో ఏడాదిలోనే (అక్టోబర్ 2025 నాటికి) తొలగించామని మంత్రి నారాయణ వెల్లడించారు. మిగిలిన భూగర్భ (అండర్ గ్రౌండ్) చెత్తను కూడా వచ్చే జూన్ (2026) చివరి నాటికి పూర్తిగా క్లియర్ చేసే దిశగా వేగంగా పనులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
వేస్ట్ టు ఎనర్జీ – స్వచ్ఛ సూపర్ లీగ్ లక్ష్యాలు
రాష్ట్రంలో భవిష్యత్తులో సరికొత్త డంప్యార్డులు లేకుండా చేయాలనే బలమైన సంకల్పంతో ప్రభుత్వం విప్లవాత్మక మార్పులు తీసుకువస్తోంది.
- విద్యుత్ ప్రాజెక్టులకు ప్రాధాన్యత: రాష్ట్రంలో చెత్తను విద్యుత్గా మార్చే “వేస్ట్ టు ఎనర్జీ” ప్రాజెక్టులకు కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అత్యధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోంది. ప్లాంట్లు లేని మిగిలిన 123 మున్సిపాలిటీల్లో చెత్తను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు రీసైకిల్ అండ్ ప్రాసెస్ చేసే విధంగా ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పటికే టెండర్లు పిలిచింది.
- ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యం: స్వచ్ఛాంధ్ర కార్పొరేషన్ చైర్మన్ పట్టాభిరామ్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. విజయవాడ మున్సిపల్ కార్పొరేషన్ ‘స్వచ్ఛ సూపర్ లీగ్’ లో స్థానం సంపాదించుకోవడం సంతోషకరమన్నారు. స్వర్ణాంధ్ర – స్వచ్ఛాంధ్ర లక్ష్య సాధనకు ప్రజలు సమిష్టిగా ముందుకు రావాలని కోరారు.
- పాల్గొన్న అసోసియేషన్లు: ఈ మెగా క్లీనింగ్ డ్రైవ్లో స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థలు, టెర్రస్ గార్డెన్ గ్రూపులు, రెసిడెంట్ వెల్ఫేర్ అసోసియేషన్ (RWA) సభ్యులు, నగరపాలక సంస్థ సిబ్బంది భారీ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని విజయవంతం చేశారు.

In a strategic administrative move to transform urban sanitation, the Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development has rolled out a high-impact monthly drive across the state. Operating under the policy frameworks of the AP Operation Clean Sweep Minister Narayana 2026 baseline blueprint, Municipal Minister Ponguru Narayana officially inaugurated the campaign near the Kurmayya Bridge on Sambamurthy Road in Vijayawada. To set an operational benchmark for local administrative bodies, the Minister actively participated in the field operations alongside local sanitation workers, clearing debris on public roads, followed by an interaction with local citizens during breakfast at an Anna Canteen.
The four-week structural blueprint is mapped out to institutionalize garbage-free municipalities and transition Andhra Pradesh into a zero-dumpyard territory. The field deployment matrix designates the opening phase to comprehensive roadway clearance and public zone sanitization, while the subsequent week leverages community participation to flush out local drainage channels and canals. Minister Narayana noted that out of the staggering 153 lakh tons of legacy waste neglected by the previous administration, municipal bodies successfully cleared 85 lakh tons of surface-level waste by October 2025 within a tight twelve-month window. The remaining sub-surface biological waste is fast-tracked to be completely eliminated by the end of June 2026.
Energy Conversion Systems and Competitive Sanitation Metrics
To prevent the formation of new unmanaged landfills, the administration is heavily investing in advanced waste management technologies and circular economy systems:
- Waste-to-Energy Infrastructure: The state is giving maximum priority to ecological processing plants that convert solid municipal waste into electricity. Comprehensive structural tenders have been invited for the remaining 123 municipalities lacking processing factories to enable real-time waste decomposition.
- Swachh Super League Achievements: Swachhandhra Corporation Chairman Pattabhiram highlighted that the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) securing a prestigious ranking in the ‘Swachh Super League’ reflects successful municipal collaboration, reinforcing the Swarna Andhra vision.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Guided by NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha and VMC Commissioner Dhyanachandra, the initialization phase integrated volunteer groups, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), and the active support of campaign Brand Ambassador Dr. G. Samaram.
