శ్రీసత్యసాయి జిల్లా ధర్మవరంలో స్థానిక రాజకీయాలు ఒక్కసారిగా తీవ్రస్థాయిలో వేడెక్కాయి. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ మంత్రి వై. సత్యకుమార్ యాదవ్ (Satya Kumar Yadav) లక్ష్యంగా ఇటు ప్రతిపక్షాలు, అటు సొంత కూటమిలోని కొన్ని వర్గాల నేతలు ఉమ్మడిగా తిరుగుబాటు బావుటా ఎగురవేశారు. ప్రభుత్వ విమర్శకులను, లోపాలను ప్రశ్నించే వారిని అధికార బలంతో అణచివేస్తున్నారంటూ మంత్రిపై స్థానిక నాయకులు తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. “సత్యకుమార్.. నీకు దమ్ముంటే నీ పదవికి రాజీనామా చేసి మళ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లోకి రా” అంటూ ధర్మవరం స్థానిక నాయకులు విసిరిన బహిరంగ సవాల్ ఇప్పుడు జిల్లావ్యాప్తంగా రాజకీయ కలకలం రేపుతోంది.

ధర్మవరం ప్రభుత్వ ఆసుపత్రి ప్రాంగణంలో మంగళవారం చోటుచేసుకున్న ఒక దారుణ దాడి ఘటన ఈ తాజా రాజకీయ వివాదానికి ప్రధాన కారణమైంది. మంత్రి సత్యకుమార్ యాదవ్ నియోజకవర్గంలో అందుబాటులో ఉండటం లేదంటూ సోషల్ మీడియా వేదికగా ప్రశ్నించినందుకు గాను హైకోర్టు న్యాయవాది కె. అంజన్ రెడ్డిపై దాడి జరిగింది. మంత్రి వ్యక్తిగత సహాయకుడు (PA) హరీష్ తన అనుచరులతో కలిసి అంజన్ రెడ్డిపై భౌతిక దాడికి పాల్పడ్డారు. ఈ దాడిలో తీవ్రంగా గాయపడిన న్యాయవాది ప్రస్తుతం ఆసుపత్రిలో చికిత్స పొందుతుండగా, ప్రశ్నించే వారిపై రౌడీయిజం చేయడం దుర్మార్గమంటూ స్థానికులు మండిపడుతున్నారు.

అంబేడ్కర్ విగ్రహం వద్ద భారీ ధర్నా

న్యాయవాదిపై జరిగిన దాడికి నిరసనగా ధర్మవరంలోని అంబేడ్కర్ విగ్రహం వద్ద రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా భారీ ఎత్తున నిరసన ప్రదర్శనలు నిర్వహించారు. ఈ ధర్నాలో అధికార కూటమికి చెందిన టీడీపీ, బీజేపీ నాయకులతో పాటు ప్రతిపక్ష కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీకి చెందిన స్థానిక నేతలు సైతం ఏకతాటిపైకి రావడం గమనార్హం. ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో ప్రశ్నించే హక్కును కాలరాస్తూ, దాడుల సంస్కృతిని ప్రోత్సహిస్తే ఊరుకునేది లేదని నాయకులు హెచ్చరించారు.

నిరసనలో పాల్గొన్న స్థానిక బీజేపీ నేత సుదర్శన్ రెడ్డి, కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నేత పరమేష్ మంత్రి సత్యకుమార్‌ను టార్గెట్ చేస్తూ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. మంత్రి నియోజకవర్గంలో రౌడీయిజం పెంచి పోషిస్తున్నారని, అనంతపురం జిల్లాలో కలకలం రేపిన ‘హనీ ట్రాప్’ స్కామ్ వెనుక కూడా ఆయన హస్తం ఉందంటూ తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు గుప్పించారు. బాధితుడైన అంజన్ రెడ్డికి న్యాయం జరిగే వరకు, దాడికి పాల్పడిన వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకునే వరకు మంత్రికి వ్యతిరేకంగా పెద్ద ఎత్తున ఉద్యమిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Local politics in Dharmavaram of Sri Sathya Sai district have suddenly escalated over critical remarks against Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Y. Satya Kumar Yadav (Satya Kumar Yadav). Both the opposition and certain local leaders from the ruling alliance have raised their voices against the minister, accusing him of suppressing critics and dissenters. The local political leaders thrown a massive challenge at the minister, stating, “Satya Kumar, if you have the guts, resign from your post and contest the elections again,” which has created ripples across the district.

The primary trigger for this fresh political controversy is a brutal attack that took place on Tuesday at the Dharmavaram Government Hospital premises. High Court advocate K. Anjan Reddy had questioned Minister Satya Kumar’s absence from the constituency through social media platforms. Enraged by this, the minister’s personal assistant (PA) Harish, along with his followers, allegedly assaulted the advocate. Anjan Reddy, who sustained severe injuries, is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, while local leaders have strongly condemned the high-handedness.

Massive Protest at Ambedkar Statue

In protest against the violent attack on the advocate, local leaders cutting across political lines organized a massive sit-in dharna at the Ambedkar statue in Dharmavaram. Leaders from the TDP, BJP, and Congress parties united under one banner to protest against the ruling party’s alleged high-handedness. The leaders warned that suppressing the right to question in a democracy through violent means would not be tolerated.

During the protest, local BJP leader Sudarshan Reddy and Congress leader Paramesh made sensational allegations against Minister Satya Kumar Yadav. They accused him of fostering a culture of rowdyism in Dharmavaram and alleged his involvement in the controversial ‘Honey Trap’ scam that recently shook Anantapur district. The leaders warned that they would launch a large-scale agitation against the minister until justice is served to the victim, Anjan Reddy.
