డీజిల్ సబ్సిడీ మరియు లబ్ధిదారుల వివరాలపై స్పష్టత: మత్స్యకారుల డీజిల్ సబ్సిడీపై ప్రతిపక్షాలు చేస్తున్న తప్పుడు ప్రచారాన్ని మంత్రి అచ్చెన్నాయుడు తీవ్రంగా ఖండించారు. 2018-19 లో కేవలం రూ.6.03 పైసలుగా ఉన్న లీటర్ డీజిల్ సబ్సిడీని రూ.9 కు పెంచిన ఘనత తమ ప్రభుత్వానిదేనని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రస్తుతం మోటరైజ్డ్ పడవలకు నెలకు 300 లీటర్లు, మెకనైజ్డ్ పడవలకు నెలకు 3,000 లీటర్ల చొప్పున ఏడాదికి 10 నెలల పాటు సబ్సిడీ ఇస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న 98 హెచ్‌ఎస్‌డీ (HSD) అవుట్‌లెట్ల ద్వారా స్మార్ట్ కార్డ్స్ ఉపయోగించి కొనుగోలు చేసే సమయంలోనే నేరుగా ఈ సబ్సిడీ అందుతోందని, 2025-26 లో రికార్డు స్థాయిలో 21,935 పడవలు ఈ లబ్ధిని పొందాయని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.

ప్రమాద బీమా పరిహారం – మౌలిక వసతుల పెంపు: వేట సమయంలో ప్రమాదవశాత్తు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయిన మత్స్యకార కుటుంబాలకు ఎక్స్‌గ్రేషియా నిలిచిపోయిందనే వార్తల్లో ఎలాంటి నిజం లేదన్నారు. 2024-25 లో 63 క్లెయిమ్‌లకు రూ.3.15 కోట్లు, 2025-26 లో 113 పెండింగ్ క్లెయిమ్‌లకు రూ.5.65 కోట్లు ప్రభుత్వం సకాలంలో చెల్లించిందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఇవే కాకుండా 50 ఏళ్లు పైబడిన 68,632 మంది మత్స్యకారులకు నెలకు రూ.4,000 చొప్పున రూ.330 కోట్ల సామాజిక భద్రతా పింఛన్లు ఇస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. అలాగే రాష్ట్రంలో రూ.2,419.61 కోట్ల భారీ వ్యయంతో విశాఖ, కాకినాడ, నిజాంపట్నం, మచిలీపట్నం సహా 10 ఫిషింగ్ హార్బర్లు, 6 ఫిష్ ల్యాండింగ్ సెంటర్ల నిర్మాణ పనులు వేగంగా జరుగుతున్నాయని, అబద్ధాలతో రాజకీయ లబ్ధి పొందాలని చూస్తే ప్రజలే బుద్ధి చెబుతారని అచ్చెన్నాయుడు హెచ్చరించారు.

Against a total budgetary allocation of Rs 261.592 crore, an amount of Rs 254.886 crore has already been disbursed online. Addressing the row over fuel concessions, the Minister reminded that it was the Telugu Desam-led alliance that enhanced the diesel subsidy to Rs 9 per liter. Currently, motorized boats receive up to 300 liters and mechanized vessels get 3,000 liters per month for 10 months a year, utilizing automated HSD smart cards across 98 dedicated state-wide outlets to benefit over 21,935 active boats.

Ex-Gratia Disbursal and Modern Fishing Harbors: The Minister vehemently denied claims of delays regarding ex-gratia payments for families of fishermen deceased during high-sea operations. Official registers show that the government cleared 63 claims worth Rs 3.15 crore in 2024-25 and processed 113 claims totaling Rs 5.65 crore in the 2025-26 financial windows. Furthermore, Rs 330 crore was distributed toward social security pensions, providing Rs 4,000 monthly to 68,632 elderly fishermen aged above 50. Atchannaidu highlighted that massive marine infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,419.61 crore are progressing rapidly to complete 10 world-class fishing harbors and 6 fish landing centers across Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Machilipatnam, and Nizampatnam.
