పోలవరం లక్ష్యాలు – 2027 నాటికి నిర్వాసితుల తరలింపు: పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టు పనుల పురోగతిని అధికారులు సీఎంకు వివరిస్తూ.. సివిల్ పనులు 88 శాతం, భూసేకరణ 93 శాతం పూర్తయ్యాయని వెల్లడించారు. ఈఆర్సీఎఫ్ (ECRF) డ్యామ్ గ్యాప్ 1, 2 పనులు 2027 మార్చి 31 నాటికి పూర్తవుతాయని తెలిపారు. దీనిపై సీఎం చంద్రబాబు స్పందిస్తూ.. “ప్రతి నెలా పోలవరం పనులను స్వయంగా సమీక్షిస్తాను. నిర్దేశిత గడువులోగా పనులు పూర్తి కావాల్సిందే. నిర్వాసితులకు చట్టప్రకారం పునరావాస (R&R) ప్యాకేజీ అందించి, 2027 ఏప్రిల్ నాటికి తరలింపు ప్రక్రియను సంపూర్ణంగా ముగించాలి” అని ఆదేశించారు. అలాగే, పోలవరం స్పిల్ వే దిగువన పర్యాటక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచేలా ఒక ‘ఐకానిక్ బ్రిడ్జ్’ నిర్మించాలని సూచించారు. పోలవరం ఎడమ కాలువ ద్వారా మేఘాద్రిగడ్డకు, అక్కడి నుంచి వంశధార-నాగావళి-చంపావతి నదుల అనుసంధానంపై తక్షణమే అధ్యయనం చేపట్టాలన్నారు.

Timelines for completing Chintalapudi lift canals by July next year and Varikapudisela were strictly emphasized alongside the revival of mass water awareness under ‘Jaldhara-Jalaharathi’.

Department heads presented data revealing that a total lack of budgetary allocations and maintenance between 2019 and 2024 had completely defunct 362 lift schemes, which historically supplied water to 10 lakh acres of farmland. The alliance government has proactively fast-tracked their restoration, making 156 schemes fully operational and 505 schemes partially operational.
