లారీ కాంట్రాక్టర్లపై కఠిన చర్యలు: ధాన్యం తరలింపులో జాప్యం చేసే లారీ కాంట్రాక్టర్లపై అవసరమైతే క్రిమినల్ కేసులు నమోదు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రవాణా శాఖ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో లారీల కొరత ఉంటే, ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా స్థానిక ట్రాక్టర్లను వినియోగించుకోవాలని సూచించారు. రైతులు పండించిన ప్రతి గింజా కొనుగోలు చేయడమే ప్రభుత్వ బాధ్యత అని, ఇందులో నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించే అధికారులపై క్రమశిక్షణా చర్యలు తప్పవని హెచ్చరించారు. గోదాముల్లో స్థలం లేకపోతే రైతు వేదికలు, ఫంక్షన్ హాళ్లను తాత్కాలికంగా వినియోగించుకోవాలని కలెక్టర్లకు సూచించారు.
అకాల వర్షాల నుండి రక్షణ: రాష్ట్రంలో అకాల వర్షాల ముప్పు పొంచి ఉన్నందున, కొనుగోలు కేంద్రాల వద్ద ధాన్యం తడవకుండా టార్పాలిన్లను సరిపడా అందుబాటులో ఉంచాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. ప్రతి మండలంలో ఒక ప్రత్యేక అధికారిని నియమించి, వాతావరణ హెచ్చరికల ఆధారంగా రైతులను అప్రమత్తం చేయాలన్నారు. సివిల్ సప్లైస్ కమిషనర్ స్టీఫెన్ రవీంద్ర మాట్లాడుతూ.. ఇప్పటికే 23 లక్షల మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల ధాన్యం సేకరించామని, రైతులకు నేరుగా వారి ఖాతాల్లోకే నిధులు జమ చేస్తున్నామని వివరించారు.

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed all District Collectors to execute the ongoing rabi crop collection in Revanth Reddy Mission Mode Grain Procurement 2026. During a high-level video conference on Tuesday, the CM emphasized that the government will not tolerate any negligence that causes distress to farmers. He instructed officials to ensure a seamless flow of operations, from the arrival of grain at Paddy Purchase Centers (PPCs) to the final payment, eliminating any logistical bottlenecks.
Criminal Action Against Errant Contractors: Expressing dissatisfaction over transportation delays in some districts, the Chief Minister warned that criminal cases would be filed against transport contractors who fail to provide the agreed number of trucks. “If there is a shortage of lorries, officials must mobilize local tractors and other vehicles to move the grain to rice mills immediately,” he stated. He also ordered the appointment of special monitoring officers at IKP centers to prevent irregularities in weighing (tukkam) and to stop millers from making unauthorized weight deductions.
Weather Safeguards and Storage: In light of the unseasonal rain alerts, the CM mandated the provision of adequate tarpaulins at all procurement yards. He suggested utilizing Rythu Bazaars and community halls as temporary storage facilities to prevent grain damage. Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy noted that the state has already released over ₹3,166 crore as MSP payments. The administration remains committed to achieving the procurement target of 90 lakh metric tonnes while maintaining transparency at every stage of the process.
