బీసీలకు పూర్వవైభవం – రిజర్వేషన్ల పెంపు: గత ప్రభుత్వం బీసీల సబ్ ప్లాన్ నిధులైన రూ. 75,760 కోట్లను దారి మళ్లించి, వారిని అణగదొక్కిందని మంత్రి ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన వెంటనే బీసీలకు న్యాయం చేసేందుకు ఐఏఎస్ రాజీవ్ రంజన్ మిశ్రా నేతృత్వంలో డెడికేటెడ్ కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేశామని, స్థానిక సంస్థల్లో 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లను పునరుద్ధరిస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. చట్టసభల్లోనూ బీసీలకు 34 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించాలని అసెంబ్లీలో తీర్మానం చేసి కేంద్రానికి పంపామని ఆమె గుర్తు చేశారు. ‘ఆదరణ 3.0’ పథకం ద్వారా బీసీ కులవృత్తులకు మళ్లీ జవసత్వాలు నింపుతామని వెల్లడించారు.

బిజినెస్ రిఫార్మర్ అవార్డుపై హర్షం: సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు గారికి ఎకనామిక్ టైమ్స్ సంస్థ ‘బిజినెస్ రిఫార్మర్’ అవార్డును ప్రకటించడంపై మంత్రి సవిత హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ‘స్పీడ్ ఆఫ్ డూయింగ్ బిజినెస్’ మాత్రమే కాకుండా ‘స్పీడ్ ఆఫ్ గవర్నెన్స్’ తో ఏపీని గ్లోబల్ హబ్‌గా తీర్చిదిద్దుతున్నారన్నారు. విజన్ 2047తో రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధికి అహర్నిశలు శ్రమిస్తున్న చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు గారికి ఈ అవార్డు రావడం రాష్ట్రానికే గర్వకారణమని కొనియాడారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో పలు కార్పొరేషన్ల చైర్మన్లు, కూటమి నాయకులు పాల్గొని బీసీ సంక్షేమ పథకాలను ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకెళ్తామని ప్రతిన పూనారు.

She reiterated that the current government has appointed a dedicated committee led by retired IAS officer Rajiv Ranjan Mishra to restore the 34% reservation in local bodies. Minister Savitha also highlighted that the assembly passed a resolution seeking 34% reservation for BCs in legislative bodies and forwarded it to the Center. The upcoming ‘Adarana 3.0’ scheme will focus on reviving traditional occupations through modern tools and financial support.

Tribute to CM’s Visionary Leadership: Minister Savitha expressed her joy over CM Chandrababu Naidu receiving the ‘Business Reformer’ award from the Economic Times. She noted that his proactive policies in sectors like IT, Green Energy, and Electronics are attracting global investments to Andhra Pradesh. “The CM’s ‘Vision 2047’ is paving the way for the state to become a global hub,” she said, adding that the award is a testament to his governance. The meeting concluded with a call to party workers and Sadhikara Samithi members to ensure that welfare schemes reach every household ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
