అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని గ్రామీణ ప్రాంత ప్రజలకు సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు నేతృత్వంలోని కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం తీపి కబురు అందించింది. పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉన్నట్లే ఇకపై గ్రామ పంచాయతీల పరిధిలో కూడా ముందస్తుగా ఆస్తి పన్ను చెల్లించే వారికి 5 శాతం రాయితీ (Rebate) కల్పించాలని నిర్ణయించింది. జాతీయ పంచాయతీరాజ్ దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ఈ కీలక ప్రకటన చేస్తూ అధికారులు ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేశారు. రాయితీ పొందడం ఎలా?: 2026-27 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి సంబంధించి మే 1వ తేదీ నుంచి మే 31వ తేదీ లోపు తమ ఆస్తి పన్నును చెల్లించే వారికి ఈ 5 శాతం రాయితీ వర్తిస్తుంది. ప్రజలు తమ పన్నులను ‘స్వర్ణ పంచాయతీ’ (Swarna Panchayat) పోర్టల్ ద్వారా ఆన్లైన్లో సులభంగా చెల్లించవచ్చని పంచాయతీరాజ్ శాఖ కమిషనర్ కృష్ణ తేజ వెల్లడించారు. గతంలో ఈ సౌకర్యం కేవలం మున్సిపాలిటీలు మరియు కార్పొరేషన్లకు మాత్రమే పరిమితం కాగా, తొలిసారిగా గ్రామ పంచాయతీల్లోనూ దీనిని అమలు చేస్తున్నారు.
పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో మరియు బకాయిలపై ఆఫర్: ఇప్పటికే పురపాలక, నగరపాలక సంస్థల్లో ఏప్రిల్ 30లోగా ఆస్తి పన్ను చెల్లించే వారికి 5 శాతం రిబేట్ అమల్లో ఉన్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. దీనితో పాటు, 2025-26 వరకు ఉన్న పాత ఆస్తి పన్ను బకాయిలపై కూడా ప్రభుత్వం భారీ ఊరటనిచ్చింది. ఈ నెలాఖరులోగా బకాయిలు చెల్లించే వారికి వడ్డీలో 50 శాతం మాఫీ (Interest Waiver) చేస్తూ గడువును పొడిగించింది. ప్రజలు ఈ అవకాశాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకుని సకాలంలో పన్నులు చెల్లించి రాయితీలు పొందాలని ప్రభుత్వం సూచిస్తోంది.

Urban Rebates and Interest Waiver: Meanwhile, the government reminded urban residents that the 5% rebate for municipalities and municipal corporations is currently active and will expire on April 30. Additionally, a major relief scheme is underway for those with long-pending tax arrears up to the year 2025-26. The administration is offering a 50% waiver on interest for such arrears if cleared by the end of this month. Officials have urged the public to utilize these digital portals and time-bound offers to save on their tax liabilities while contributing to state development.
