రాజకీయ ప్రస్థానం: 1935 జూన్ 23న బాపట్ల జిల్లా దోనేపూడిలో జన్మించిన నాదెండ్ల భాస్కరరావు, న్యాయవాదిగా కెరీర్ ప్రారంభించి కాంగ్రెస్ ద్వారా రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చారు. 1978లో తొలిసారి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా గెలిచి చెన్నారెడ్డి కేబినెట్లో మంత్రిగా పనిచేశారు. 1982లో ఎన్టీ రామారావుతో కలిసి తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ స్థాపనలో కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు. 1983లో టీడీపీ అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక ఆర్థిక మంత్రిగా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహించారు. 1984లో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సంచలనం సృష్టించిన రాజకీయ తిరుగుబాటు ద్వారా ఆగస్టు 16 నుంచి సెప్టెంబర్ 16 వరకు సరిగ్గా ఒక నెల రోజుల పాటు ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వర్తించారు.
అంత్యక్రియలు: నాదెండ్ల భాస్కరరావు పార్థివదేహాన్ని ఆయన నివాసంలో సందర్శనార్థం ఉంచారు. ఆయన కుమారుడు, ఏపీ పౌరసరఫరాల శాఖ మంత్రి నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఫోన్ ద్వారా పరామర్శించారు. డిప్యూటీ సీఎం పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, లోకేష్ మరియు ఇతర నేతలు ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలిపారు. గురువారం మధ్యాహ్నం హైదరాబాద్లోని పంజాగుట్ట శ్మశానవాటికలో ఆయన అంత్యక్రియలు నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు ప్రకటించారు. ఆయన ఆత్మకథ ‘వాకింగ్ విత్ డెస్టినీ’ ఆయన జీవితంలోని ఎన్నో అరుదైన కోణాలను ఆవిష్కరించింది.

Former Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and several other leaders paid their last respects at his residence. The final rites of the veteran leader are scheduled to take place on Thursday at the Panjagutta crematorium in Hyderabad.
