అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని పాఠశాల విద్యార్థులకు విద్యాశాఖ చల్లని కబురు అందించింది. 2025-26 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి సంబంధించి వేసవి సెలవుల (Summer Vacation) షెడ్యూల్ను ప్రభుత్వం అధికారికంగా ప్రకటించింది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ మరియు ప్రైవేట్ పాఠశాలలకు ఏప్రిల్ 24, 2026 నుండి వేసవి సెలవులు ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి. ఏప్రిల్ 23వ తేదీని ఈ విద్యా సంవత్సరం చివరి పని దినంగా (Last Working Day) విద్యా క్యాలెండర్లో పేర్కొన్నారు.

ప్రస్తుతం 1వ తరగతి నుంచి 9వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు సమ్మేటివ్ అసెస్మెంట్-2 (SA-2) పరీక్షలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఈ పరీక్షలు ముగియగానే విద్యార్థులకు సుదీర్ఘంగా 48 రోజుల పాటు సెలవులు లభించనున్నాయి. తిరిగి జూన్ 12, 2026న పాఠశాలలు పునఃప్రారంభం అవుతాయని విద్యాశాఖ స్పష్టం చేసింది. అయితే, ఇంటర్మీడియట్ విద్యార్థులకు మాత్రం జూన్ 1వ తేదీ నుంచే తరగతులు ప్రారంభం కానున్నాయి. ఎండల తీవ్రత దృష్ట్యా విద్యార్థులు మధ్యాహ్నం వేళ బయట తిరగవద్దని, సెలవుల్లో చెరువులు, నదుల వద్దకు వెళ్లకుండా తల్లిదండ్రులు జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులు సూచించారు.

Amaravati: The School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has officially announced the summer vacation schedule for the academic year 2025-26. According to the AP School Summer Holidays 2026 guidelines, all government, private, and aided schools in the state will remain closed from April 24, 2026, until June 11, 2026. April 23 has been designated as the last working day of the current academic session.
Currently, students from Classes 1 to 9 are appearing for their Summative Assessment-2 (SA-2) examinations. Following the completion of these exams, students will enjoy a 48-day long summer break. The schools are scheduled to reopen on June 12, 2026, for the next academic year 2026-27. Meanwhile, for Intermediate students, the vacation will end earlier, with classes set to resume on June 1.
