తెల్‌అవీవ్, జూన్ 20: ఇరాన్ ప్రయోగించిన ఫైర్ రింగ్ వ్యూహాన్ని తిరిగి ఇరాన్‌పైనే ప్రయోగించనున్నామని ఇస్రాయెల్ ప్రకటించింది. ‘‘ఇది చరిత్రాత్మకం, మిడిల్ ఈస్ట్ రూపాన్ని మార్చుతున్నాం’’ అని ఆర్మీ చీఫ్ లెఫ్టినెంట్ జనరల్ ఎయల్ జమీర్ అన్నారు.
ఇస్రాయెల్ రక్షణ దళాల టార్గెటింగ్ సెంటర్‌ను సందర్శించిన తర్వాత ఆయన ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. అక్కడి బృందం అసాధారణ నైపుణ్యాలు (capabilities) కలిగి ఉందని ప్రశంసించారు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఈ సైనిక విజయాన్ని గౌరవంతో చూస్తున్నారని చెప్పారు.
ఈ దాడుల మొదటి రోజే ఖుద్స్ ఫోర్స్‌పై పెద్దఎత్తున దాడులు చేసినట్లు మేజర్ జనరల్ ష్లోమీ బిండర్ వెల్లడించారు. మౌలికంగా ఒక రహస్య కేంద్రాన్ని పర్వత ప్రాంతంలో ధ్వంసం చేయగా, మరో దాడిలో ఖాతం అల్ అంబియాలోని చీఫ్ ఆఫ్ స్టాఫ్ లక్ష్యంగా దాడి జరిగినట్లు చెప్పారు.
“ఒక పర్వత ప్రాంతంలోని కేంద్రాన్ని ధ్వంసం చేశాం. కొంత మంది నేతలు ఓ తాత్కాలిక స్థలానికి (secondary location) వెళ్లారు. పన్నెండు గంటలలోపు ఆ స్థలాన్ని కూడా గుర్తించి అక్కడకు పారిపోయిన అధికారిని లక్ష్యంగా సుదీర్ఘ దాడి కొనసాగించాం,” అన్నారు బిండర్.
ఇప్పటి వరకు సుమారు 30 మంది ఇరాన్ సైనికాధికారులను లక్ష్యంగా చేసామన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే పలు కీలక నేతల పేర్లు బయటపడ్డాయని చెప్పారు. “మేము వేగం పెంచాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది (increase the pace), అదే చేస్తున్నాం. ఇలాంటి ప్రమాదాన్ని ఇస్రాయెల్ భరించదు. అందుకే ఈ దాడి ప్రారంభించాం,” అని బిందర్ స్పష్టం చేశారు.
Israel flips Iran’s ‘Ring of Fire’ doctrine; vows to reshape the Middle East
Israel has claimed a major strategic turnaround in its ongoing military operations, stating it has reversed Iran’s “Ring of Fire” strategy back on Tehran. “This is historic — we are changing the face of the Middle East,” said Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the IDF.
Following his visit to the IDF’s Targeting Center, Zamir praised the intelligence teams for their extraordinary capabilities and said the world is watching their success with respect and interest.
Major General Shlomi Binder said the IDF had struck Iran’s elite Quds Force heavily on the campaign’s first night. A covert headquarters in the mountains was destroyed, and 12 hours later, a strike hit the Chief of Staff of Khatam al-Anbiya, Iran’s military-linked engineering arm, at a secondary location in Tehran.
“Within hours, we identified and struck both the original site and the fallback position. About 30 Iranian commanders have been targeted so far, and names of key figures are already public,” Binder said.
He emphasised that the campaign would not slow down. “We need to increase the pace — that’s exactly what we’re doing,” he said. “This is a threat the State of Israel cannot tolerate. That’s why we launched this operation.”
