వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ అధినేత వైఎస్ జగన్‌ను చూడాలని అత్యంత ఉద్వేగంతో వెళ్లిన ఓ యువ అభిమాని అక్కడికక్కడే గుండెపోటుతో మరణించిన ఘటనపై తప్పుడు కథనాలు ప్రచురించొద్దని మృతుడు జయవర్థన్‌రెడ్డి తండ్రి భాస్కర్‌రెడ్డి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. తమ కుమారుడి మరణానికి ఎవరు బాధ్యులు కాదని స్పష్టం చేస్తూ, మీడియా తమ బాధను గౌరవించాలని కోరారు.
తాడేప‌ల్లి, జూన్ 21:పల్నాడు పర్యటనలో ఉన్న జగన్‌ను చూసేందుకు సత్తెనపల్లిలోకి వెళ్లిన పి.వెంకట జయవర్థన్‌రెడ్డి అక్కడ తీవ్ర అలసట (exhaustion)తో విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుంటున్న సమయంలో, జగన్ రావుతున్నారని తెలిసి అనూహ్యంగా ఉద్వేగానికి (emotionally overwhelmed) లోనయ్యాడు. ఆ వెంటనే కింద పడిపోయి గుండె ఆగి మరణించాడు. ఈ విషయాన్ని ఆయన తండ్రి భాస్కర్‌రెడ్డి తీవ్ర ఉద్వేగంతో వివరించారు.
‘‘ఇది ఎవరి తప్పిదం (mistake) కాదు. మా కుమారుడికి జగన్‌పై ఎంతో ఆరాధన (devotion) ఉంది. ఈ ప్రేమే చివరికి అతని ప్రాణాలను తీసింది. దయచేసి ఎలాంటి తప్పుడు వార్తలు ప్రచురించొద్దని కోరుతున్నాను,’’ అని ఆయన మీడియాతో అన్నారు.
వైఎస్ జగన్ పార్టీ కార్యాలయంలో మృతుడి తల్లిదండ్రులను స్వయంగా కలుసుకుని పరామర్శించారు. ‘‘మీరు ఏ మాత్రం అధైర్యపడకండి. మీ కుటుంబానికి మేము ఆధారం (support)గా ఉంటాం,’’ అని భరోసా ఇచ్చారు. భార్గవ్‌రెడ్డితో పాటు పలువురు పార్టీ నేతలు (party leaders) వారి కుటుంబానికి మద్దతుగా నిలిచారని భాస్కర్‌రెడ్డి తెలిపారు.
జయవర్థన్ తన కుటుంబంలో అందరికీ సహాయం చేసే వ్యక్తిగా ఉంటాడని తండ్రి గుర్తు చేశారు. ‘‘ఇలాంటి వాడిని కోల్పోయిన విషాదం తీరదు. కానీ జగనన్న చూపిన మానవత్వానికి మేము రుణపడి ఉంటాం,’’ అని తెలిపారు.
Fan dies in emotion to see Jagan – Father pleads against fake reports
Tadepalli, June 21:
The father of Venkat Jayavardhan Reddy, a YSRCP supporter who died of a heart attack while trying to see YS Jagan during his Palnadu tour, has requested the media not to spread false reports about the incident. “No one is responsible for my son’s death,” Bhaskar Reddy said, asking for respect during this time of grief.
Jayavardhan, a resident of Sattenapalli, had gone to see his beloved leader YS Jagan. Due to intense exhaustion, he took rest for a while. On hearing that the CM was arriving, he got up in a rush, overcome by emotional excitement, and collapsed suddenly. He died of a heart attack. His father, Bhaskar Reddy, recounted the incident tearfully to the press.
“This is not anyone’s fault. My son had deep devotion for Jagananna. It was his love that took his life. I request the media with folded hands, please don’t publish any fake stories,” he said.
Former CM YS Jagan met the grieving family at the YSRCP office and offered condolences. He assured the parents, “Don’t lose heart. We will always be a support to your family.” Former minister Bhargav Reddy and several party leaders also visited and consoled the family.
Bhaskar Reddy described his son as someone who helped everyone in the family. “Losing such a son is unbearable, but Jagan’s humane gesture has brought us some solace,” he added.
