Strait of Hormuz: భారత్కు ఇరాన్ బంపర్ ఆఫర్.. ఏమిటది?
అంతర్జాతీయ ఇంధన రవాణాకు అత్యంత కీలకమైన హార్ముజ్ జలసంధి (Strait of Hormuz) గుండా ప్రయాణించేందుకు భారత్కు ఇరాన్ గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చింది. పశ్చిమ ఆసియాలో యుద్ధ ఉద్రిక్తతల నేపథ్యంలో ఇరాన్ ఈ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.
టెహ్రాన్/న్యూఢిల్లీ: పశ్చిమ ఆసియాలో యుద్ధ మేఘాలు కమ్ముకున్న వేళ, ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థకు ఊపిరిపోసే Strait of Hormuz విషయంలో ఇరాన్ కీలక ప్రకటన చేసింది. భారత్తో పాటు చైనా, రష్యా వంటి తమ స్నేహపూర్వక దేశాల వాణిజ్య నౌకలకు ఈ జలసంధి ద్వారా ప్రయాణించేందుకు అనుమతి ఇస్తున్నట్లు ఇరాన్ విదేశాంగ మంత్రి సయ్యద్ అబ్బాస్ అరాక్చీ స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రపంచ చమురు, ఎల్ఎన్జీ అవసరాల్లో సుమారు 20 శాతం వాటా ఈ మార్గం గుండానే సాగుతుంది. గత కొన్ని రోజులుగా ఇరాన్ ఇక్కడ ఆంక్షలు విధించడంతో అంతర్జాతీయంగా ఇంధన ధరలు ఆకాశాన్నంటాయి.
అయితే, ఈ వెసులుబాటు కేవలం మిత్రదేశాలకు మాత్రమేనని అరాక్చీ తేల్చి చెప్పారు. శత్రు దేశాలకు చెందిన నౌకలను ఎట్టిపరిస్థితుల్లోనూ అనుమతించబోమని, ప్రస్తుతం యుద్ధ వాతావరణం నెలకొన్నందున భద్రతా కారణాల దృష్ట్యా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్ హెచ్చరికల నేపథ్యంలో ఇరాన్ తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయం ప్రపంచ రాజకీయాల్లో ప్రాధాన్యత సంతరించుకుంది. భారత్ తన ఇంధన అవసరాల కోసం ప్రధానంగా పశ్చిమ ఆసియాపైనే ఆధారపడుతున్న తరుణంలో, ఈ అనుమతి దేశీయ ఇంధన భద్రతకు పెద్ద ఊరటనిస్తుందని విశ్లేషకులు భావిస్తున్నారు.

In a significant geopolitical move, Iran has officially permitted India and four other “friendly nations”—China, Russia, Iraq, and Pakistan—to use the strategic Strait of Hormuz for commercial shipping. This decision comes amid escalating tensions in West Asia, where Iran has restricted the waterway for its adversaries, leading to a global surge in oil and LNG prices.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated that while the region remains a “war zone,” safe passage is being coordinated for trusted partners to ensure energy flow. For India, this development is crucial as the Strait handles nearly 20% of global energy trade, and any prolonged blockade could severely impact New Delhi’s fuel and fertilizer security.
