హైదరాబాద్, జూన్ 20: నైరుతి రుతుపవనాల విస్తరణ, బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన ఉపరితల ఆవర్తనం, ద్రోణి ప్రభావంతో తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో వర్షాలు ముప్పతిప్పలు చేయనున్నాయి. వాతావరణ శాఖ ఈ మేరకు అలర్ట్ జారీ చేసింది. వచ్చే రెండు రోజులు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణలో వర్షాలు మోత మోగించే అవకాశముందని అధికారులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు.
తెలంగాణలోని అనేక జిల్లాల్లో మోస్తరు నుంచి భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉంది. శుక్రవారం, శనివారం మధ్య ఉరుములు, మెరుపులతో కూడిన వర్షాలు (thundershowers) కురిసే సూచనలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. గంటకు 40–50 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో ఈదురు గాలులు (gusty winds) వీచే ప్రమాదం ఉన్నట్లు అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు.
ఈ రోజు ఆదిలాబాద్, నిజామాబాద్, వరంగల్, ఖమ్మం, కరీంనగర్, రంగారెడ్డి, హైదరాబాద్ సహా 30 జిల్లాల్లో వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉంది. కొన్ని చోట్ల మెరుపులు, ఉరుములతో కూడిన వర్షాలు వచ్చే అవకాశముంది. ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
అందువల్ల నదీ పరివాహక ప్రాంతాలు (river basin areas), తక్కువ మట్టిమట్ట ప్రాంతాలు, ట్రాఫిక్ ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో ప్రజలు సురక్షితంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు. మత్స్యకారులు, వ్యవసాయదారులు పాతనిర్ణయాలు పునఃసమీక్షించుకోవాలని సూచనలున్నాయి.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లోనూ నైరుతి రుతుపవనాలు (monsoon winds), ఉపరితల ఆవర్తనం (surface circulation), ద్రోణి ప్రభావంతో తేలికపాటి నుంచి మోస్తరు వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయి. శుక్రవారం అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు, కాకినాడ, కోనసీమ, తూర్పుగోదావరి, గుంటూరు, బాపట్ల, పల్నాడు జిల్లాల్లో వర్షాలు పడే అవకాశముంది. ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని విపత్తుల నిర్వహణ సంస్థ సూచించింది.
Alert: Nonstop rains forecast for AP, Telangana
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the southwest monsoon winds, along with a surface circulation over the Bay of Bengal and a trough, are expected to trigger widespread rainfall in the coming days.
Moderate to heavy rains are likely across several districts in Telangana. On Friday and Saturday, thundershowers accompanied by lightning are expected in isolated places, with gusty winds blowing at 40–50 km/h in several parts of the state, officials warned.
Districts like Adilabad, Nizamabad, Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy, and Hyderabad are on the radar for rain alerts. Thunder and lightningrelated activity may also impact lowlying and floodprone areas. Citizens have been advised to remain cautious.
The public, especially those in river basin areas, are urged to avoid unnecessary travel and take precautions. Fishermen and farmers are also advised to reassess their plans in light of the weather conditions.
AP Weather Update:
Rainfall is also expected in Andhra Pradesh due to the same monsoon influence. Light to moderate rain has been forecast for districts such as Alluri Sitarama Raju, Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, Guntur, Bapatla, and Palnadu. The State Disaster Management Authority has asked the public to remain alert and follow weather advisories.
