AP Electoral Roll Revision 2026 అధికారిక కార్యాచరణలో భాగంగా మంగళవారం సచివాలయంలో సర్వపక్ష సమావేశం జరిగింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ.. గత రెండు దశాబ్దాలుగా పెరిగిన పట్టణీకరణ, విద్యా, ఉపాధి వలసల వల్ల ఓటరు జాబితాల్లో కొన్ని సాంకేతిక లోపాలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయన్నారు. మరణించిన వారి పేర్లు అలాగే కొనసాగడం, ఒకే ఓటరుకు రెండు మూడు చోట్ల బహుళ నమోదులు (Duplicate Entries) ఉండటం వంటి సమస్యలను శాశ్వతంగా నివారించేందుకే ఈ ప్రత్యేక సమగ్ర సవరణ (SIR) చేపడుతున్నట్లు స్పష్టం చేశారు. అర్హులైన ప్రతి పౌరుడికీ ఓటు హక్కు కల్పించడం, అనర్హుల పేర్లను తొలగించడమే దీని ప్రధాన లక్ష్యమన్నారు.

ఈ విడత ఓటర్ల సవరణ ప్రక్రియకు 01 జూలై 2026ను అర్హత తేదీగా (Qualifying Date) నిర్ణయించినట్లు సీఈఓ వెల్లడించారు. ఈ భారీ కార్యక్రమం కోసం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న 46,397 మంది బూత్ స్థాయి అధికారులు (BLO) నేరుగా ఓటర్ల ఇళ్లకు వెళ్లి వివరాలు సేకరిస్తారని తెలిపారు. మే 25 నాటి రికార్డుల ఆధారంగా పాక్షికంగా ముందస్తుగా పూరించిన గణన ఫారాలను (Enumeration Forms) వీరు పంపిణీ చేస్తారు. ఓటర్లు తమ నివాస ధృవీకరణలను సరిచూసుకుని ఎలాంటి అదనపు పత్రాలు లేకుండా కేవలం ఓటరు జాబితా ఎక్స్‌ట్రాక్ట్‌తో ఈ ఫారాలను సమర్పించవచ్చని, త్వరలోనే ఆన్‌లైన్ ద్వారా కూడా సమర్పించే సదుపాయం తెస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రక్రియలో పూర్తి పారదర్శకత కోసం ప్రతి పోలింగ్ కేంద్రానికి రాజకీయ పార్టీలు తప్పనిసరిగా బూత్ స్థాయి ఏజెంట్లను (BLA) నియమించుకోవాలని వివేక్ యాదవ్ కోరారు.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vivek Yadav has urged all political parties to extend their full cooperation in preparing a clean, verified, and error-free voters list. Under the strategic guidelines of the AP Electoral Roll Revision 2026 framework, a comprehensive all-party meeting was convened at the State Secretariat on Tuesday. Addressing the representatives, the CEO explained that rapid urbanization, long-term migration for employment, and demographic shifts over the past two decades have resulted in discrepancies within the current voter rolls. Common issues include the continuation of deceased citizens’ names, multiple registrations for a single individual, and un-updated residential changes, which this massive clean-up drive aims to rectify.

The Election Commission of India has designated July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date for this Special Intensive Revision (SIR). To maintain the absolute integrity of the democratic process, 46,397 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct a meticulous door-to-door physical verification survey across the state. These officers will distribute and collect pre-filled Enumeration Forms based on the voter registry data as of May 25. To enhance transparency, Vivek Yadav strongly requested political groups to deploy active Booth Level Agents (BLAs) at every station. He also announced that a secure web portal for online submission of these forms will be launched shortly to minimize public inconvenience.

Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 – Official Action Timeline

The formal timeline sanctioned by the Election Commission of India for the execution of the voters list update is detailed below:

• Preparatory Phase & Form Printing: Scheduled from June 5, 2026, to June 14, 2026, encompassing extensive field machinery training.
• Door-to-Door Verification Drive: Continuous household visits by BLOs for distribution and collection of forms from June 15, 2026, to July 14, 2026.
• Rationalisation of Polling Stations: Technical alignments and booth reorganizations will be completed by July 14, 2026.
• Publication of Draft Electoral Roll: The initial updated draft will be officially made public on July 21, 2026.
• Claims and Objections Window: Citizens can file corrections, new inclusions, or deletions from July 21, 2026, to August 20, 2026.
• Disposal of Claims: Official scrutiny, verification hearings, and legal disposals will run until September 18, 2026.
• Final Electoral Roll Publication: The ultimate authenticated voter list will be formally published on September 22, 2026.

The session witnessed active participation from senior political leaders across various organizations. The TDP delegation included P. Ashok Babu, Koneru Suresh, and K. Raja Sekhar, while the YSRCP was represented by Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani), L. Appi Reddy, Srikanth Reddy, A.N.N. Murthy, and N. Chandrasekhar Reddy. E.
