దేశంలోని 12 రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి ఖాళీ అవుతున్న 26 రాజ్యసభ స్థానాలకు జూన్ 18న ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించేందుకు కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం తుది Rajya Sabha Election Schedule ప్రకటించింది. ఇందులో 24 ద్వైవార్షిక స్థానాలు ఉండగా, మహారాష్ట్ర, తమిళనాడుల నుంచి ఒక్కో స్థానానికి ఉప ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్నాయి. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, కర్ణాటక, గుజరాత్ రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి నలుగురు చొప్పున, మధ్యప్రదేశ్, రాజస్థాన్‌ల నుంచి ముగ్గురు చొప్పున ఎంపీలు పదవీ విరమణ పొందుతున్నారు. ఏపీ నుంచి వైకాపా సభ్యులు ఆళ్ల అయోధ్య రామిరెడ్డి, పరిమళ్ నత్వానీ, పిల్లి సుభాష్ చంద్రబోస్, తెదేపా సభ్యుడు సానా సతీష్‌ల పదవీ కాలం జూన్ 21తో ముగియనుంది.

ఎన్నికల సంఘం వెల్లడించిన వివరాల ప్రకారం జూన్ 1న అధికారిక నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల కానుంది. నామినేషన్ల దాఖలుకు జూన్ 8 చివరి తేదీ కాగా, జూన్ 9న పరిశీలన, జూన్ 11న ఉపసంహరణ గడువు ముగుస్తుంది. జూన్ 18న ఉదయం నుంచి పోలింగ్ నిర్వహించి, అదే రోజు సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల నుంచి ఓట్ల లెక్కింపు చేపడతారు. ఈ ఎన్నికల్లో మాజీ ప్రధాని దేవేగౌడ, ఏఐసీసీ అధ్యక్షుడు మల్లికార్జున ఖర్గే, కాంగ్రెస్ నేత దిగ్విజయ్ సింగ్ వంటి ప్రముఖుల స్థానాలు ఖాళీ అవుతుండటంతో రాజకీయ ప్రాధాన్యత సంతరించుకుంది.

New Delhi: EC Announces Crucial Rajya Sabha Election Schedule for 26 Seats

The Election Commission of India has officially released the Rajya Sabha Election Schedule to fill 26 vacancies across 12 states, scheduled for June 18. This includes 24 biennial vacancies and 2 crucial bypolls in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Four seats each from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Gujarat are set to go to the polls.
