The official TTD Brahmotsavam Posters and booklets for the upcoming annual Brahmotsavams at the Sri Padmavathi Sametha Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Narayanavanam were released on Wednesday. TTD Executive Officer (EO) Sri Muddada Ravichandra unveiled the promotional materials at his official residence-cum-office in Tirupati. Following the release, the EO conducted a high-level review meeting with temple officials to ensure flawless arrangements for the grand religious event, which is scheduled to take place from May 28 to June 5. He emphasized providing a divine experience to all visiting devotees with a perfect blend of culture and spirituality.
According to the official schedule highlighted in the TTD Brahmotsavam Posters, the festival timeline includes the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on May 24 and Ankurarpanam on May 27. Key highlights of the nine-day festival include the sacred Garuda Vahana Seva on June 1 and the celestial Kalyanam along with Rathotsavam on June 4. Keeping the peak summer season in mind, the EO directed officials to arrange adequate shelter, clean drinking water, buttermilk, and seamless Annaprasadam distribution. The entire temple premises will be beautifully decorated with electrical illuminations, floral displays, and traditional paintings to welcome the gathering of devotees.
Magnificent Temple Decoration and Pilgrim Amenities
The temple administration is leaving no stone unturned to convert the shrine into a spiritual hub during the festival days. Special orders have been issued to set up massive cool-roof sheds, provide continuous drinking water supply, and run non-stop free food distribution centers for thousands of arriving pilgrims. To enhance the aesthetic and spiritual vibe, the inner and outer premises of the temple will be adorned with intricate floral themes, illuminating lighting structures, and beautiful traditional rangolis. Cultural programs featuring devotional music and traditional dances will also be organized on a daily basis.
The divine processions of the deities will take place every morning from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and in the evenings from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Starting with Dwajarohanam on May 28, the deities will bless devotees on various sacred carriers including the Pedda Sesha, Chinna Sesha, Hamsa, Simha, and Kalpavriksha Vahanams. The religious fervor will reach its peak during the majestic Garuda Vahanam on June 1, which traditionally attracts the maximum number of local and visiting devotees, requiring heavy security deployments.
Celestial Kalyandotsavam and Rathotsavam Schedule
Special focus has been laid on the grand celestial wedding, Sri Swamy Vari Kalyanotsavam, which is scheduled to be performed on the night of June 4 at 8:30 PM. The TTD EO directed the departmental heads to ensure highly organized seating arrangements, hassle-free darshan lines, and smooth distribution of wedding prasadam for all attendees. Earlier on the same day, the magnificent chariot festival, Rathotsavam, will be conducted where the processional deities will be taken around the holy streets of Narayanavanam.
Local temples Deputy EO Smt. Nagaratna, chief priests, and Temple Inspector Nagaraju participated in this executive review meet. They confirmed that a dedicated workforce and volunteer teams will monitor the facilities continuously to handle any emergency or surge in crowd density. The festival concludes on June 5 with the sacred splash in the temple tank, Chakrasnanam, followed by the formal lowering of the flag, Dwajavarohanam.
