Case Registered Against Ashu Reddy
A cheating case has been registered against actress and social media celebrity Ashu Reddy, creating a sensation in Tollywood circles. The case was filed with Hyderabad CCS police following a complaint that she deceived a person by promising marriage and extorting huge amounts of money, gold, and properties.
The complainant, Dharmendra, provided evidence stating that she had taken over Rs 9.35 crore in cash and gold from him over the past five years. He alleged in his complaint that she used him for a luxurious lifestyle while falsely promising to marry him.
Allegations Behind the Case
Dharmendra stated that Ashu Reddy initially asked for financial help to establish her career as an actress. Later, she began demanding money for monthly expenses, personal needs, and a lavish lifestyle. After receiving funds multiple times under the pretext of marriage, she allegedly began avoiding him, which led Dharmendra to approach the police.
There are also allegations that Ashu Reddy’s family members pressured Dharmendra to bear their expenses while addressing him as their son-in-law. With accusations also directed at her father and sister, the police are preparing to issue notices to all the accused involved in the case.
