Vijayawada: Retired IAS officer Anil Chandra Punetha officially took charge as the State Election Commissioner (SEC) of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. The assumption of office took place at the State Election Commission headquarters located on Bandar Road, Vijayawada. According to an official release by SEC Secretary Dr. A. Mallikarjuna, the Anil Chandra Punetha AP SEC 2026 appointment follows the directives issued by the State Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department.
