Dubai/Washington: The maritime standoff in the Middle East has intensified as the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that 21 vessels have been forced to turn back to Iranian ports since the implementation of the naval blockade. The US Blockade Iran Ships operation, aimed at neutralizing Iran’s regional influence and cutting off its strategic supply lines, has significantly disrupted trade routes in the Strait of Hormuz.
