డీలిమిటేషన్పై ఎన్.రామచందర్ రావు స్పష్టత: భయపడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు!
కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిపాదించిన నియోజకవర్గాల పునర్విభజన లేదా Delimitation Process పై విపక్షాలు చేస్తున్న విమర్శలను బీజేపీ సీనియర్ నాయకుడు, మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్సీ ఎన్.రామచందర్ రావు కొట్టిపారేశారు. ఈ ప్రక్రియ వల్ల దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాల ప్రాతినిధ్యం తగ్గుతుందని, ఇది ఒక కుట్ర అని ప్రచారం చేయడం సమంజసం కాదని ఆయన అన్నారు. రాజ్యాంగ నిబంధనల ప్రకారమే ఈ పునర్విభజన జరుగుతుందని, ఏ రాష్ట్రానికి అన్యాయం జరగకుండా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తగిన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటుందని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు.
హైదరాబాద్లోని బీజేపీ కార్యాలయంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, Delimitation Process అనేది కేవలం జనాభా లెక్కల ఆధారంగా జరిగే పరిపాలనాపరమైన ప్రక్రియ అని వివరించారు. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా పార్లమెంటు స్థానాల సంఖ్యను పెంచడం ద్వారా ప్రజలకు పాలనను మరింత చేరువ చేయడమే ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ లక్ష్యమని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలు సాధించిన అభివృద్ధిని, జనాభా నియంత్రణను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకునేలా శాస్త్రీయమైన పద్ధతిలో ఈ విభజన ఉంటుందని భరోసా ఇచ్చారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా రామచందర్ రావు మాట్లాడుతూ.. “కొందరు రాజకీయ నేతలు కేవలం తమ ఉనికిని కాపాడుకోవడానికే Delimitation Process పై అపోహలు సృష్టిస్తున్నారు. 2026 తర్వాతే ఈ ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభమవుతుంది, దీనిపై చర్చించడానికి ఇంకా సమయం ఉంది. ఒకవైపు మహిళా రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లును అమలు చేయాలంటే డీలిమిటేషన్ అవసరమని తెలిసి కూడా, విపక్షాలు ద్వంద్వ వైఖరిని అవలంబిస్తున్నాయి” అని విమర్శించారు.

Senior BJP leader and former MLC N. Ramchander Rao has clarified the party’s stand on the Delimitation Process, stating that there is no need for the Southern states to worry. He dismissed the allegations made by opposition parties that the redistribution of Lok Sabha seats is a conspiracy to weaken the South’s political voice. Rao emphasized that the process would strictly adhere to constitutional norms and that the central government is committed to ensuring fair representation for all states.
Speaking to the press in Hyderabad, Ramchander Rao explained that the Delimitation Process is a standard administrative procedure based on census data. He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is to increase the number of parliamentary seats to improve governance and public accessibility. He assured that the progress and effective population control measures implemented by Southern states would be factored in during the finalization of seats through a scientific approach.
Critique of Political Maneuvering
Addressing the concerns raised by regional leaders, Rao said, “Some politicians are creating unnecessary fear regarding the Delimitation Process for their political survival. This process will only commence after 2026, and there is ample time for discussion. While the Women’s Reservation Act requires delimitation for implementation, the opposition continues to play a double game.”
He reiterated that the BJP has always prioritized the interests of Telangana and other Southern states. Ramchander Rao urged leaders not to view the Delimitation Process through a narrow regional lens, as it is essential for national integration. He expressed confidence that all objections would be addressed in Parliament and that no state would lose its rightful political significance in the national democratic setup.
