మేడిగడ్డ వద్ద కుంగిన పిల్లర్లతో పాటు మొత్తం బ్యారేజీ వ్యవస్థపై సమగ్ర అధ్యయనం అవసరమని సీఎం అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. పనుల పర్యవేక్షణ కోసం మేడిగడ్డ వద్దే బేస్ క్యాంపు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. పనులు ప్రారంభమైన తర్వాత స్వయంగా క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో పర్యటించి పనుల పురోగతిని పరిశీలిస్తానని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.
ముఖ్యంగా డిసెంబర్ నాటికి పూర్తి షెడ్యూల్ సిద్ధం చేసి, ఏజెన్సీలతో సమన్వయం చేసుకుంటూ పనులు సాగాలని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. సెంట్రల్ వాటర్ కమిషన్ (CWC) సభ్యుల పర్యవేక్షణలో ప్రతి దశలోనూ నాణ్యత ప్రమాణాలు పాటించాలని కోరారు. గత రెండున్నరేళ్లుగా పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న ఈ సమస్యకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం చూపాలన్నదే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని ఆయన వివరించారు.

During a high-level review meeting at his residence, the Chief Minister emphasized following the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) guidelines strictly. He instructed the irrigation department to prepare a robust action plan and mobilize necessary machinery to start the restoration work immediately.
The Chief Minister stressed that Medigadda Barrage Repairs are a top priority for the state to protect public assets and ensure farmer welfare. He warned that no delays would be tolerated and assured that adequate funds would be released for the project.

A comprehensive study of the entire barrage, including the damaged pillars, is being conducted under the guidance of central agencies. CM Revanth Reddy asked officials to ensure that CWC members are involved in every stage of the repair process. He highlighted that the CWPRS tests must be completed swiftly to facilitate the main restoration works without further hurdles.
The government aims to finalize a complete work schedule by December, coordinating effectively with the involved agencies. With increasing pressure from various quarters, the CM reiterated that protecting the Kaleshwaram project’s infrastructure is essential.
