రాష్ట్రంలో వ్యవసాయ రంగాన్ని సుస్థిర అభివృద్ధి దిశగా తీసుకెళ్లడమే కూటమి ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని రాష్ట్ర వ్యవసాయ శాఖ మంత్రి కింజరాపు అచ్చెన్నాయుడు పేర్కొన్నారు. పశ్చిమగోదావరి జిల్లా పెనుమంట్ర మండలం మారుటేరు వ్యవసాయ పరిశోధన కేంద్రంలో బుధవారం నిర్వహించిన “కిసాన్ మేళా”లో ఆయన ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, రాబోయే రోజుల్లో Organic Farming ద్వారానే రైతులకు తక్కువ పెట్టుబడితో ఎక్కువ లాభాలు వస్తాయని, ప్రజలకు ఆరోగ్యకరమైన ఆహారం అందుతుందని తెలిపారు.
సాగునీటి సమస్యలకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం
మారుతున్న ఆహారపు అలవాట్లు మరియు వాతావరణ పరిస్థితులకు అనుగుణంగా రైతులు తమ సాగు పద్ధతులను మార్చుకోవాలని మంత్రి సూచించారు. రసాయన ఎరువుల వల్ల భూమి నిస్సారమవుతోందని, దీనిని అరికట్టడానికి సేంద్రియ ఎరువుల వాడకం పెరగాలని ఆయన కోరారు. ప్రభుత్వం ఇప్పటికే సబ్సిడీలు, శిక్షణ ద్వారా రైతులను ప్రోత్సహిస్తోందని, పండించిన పంటలకు మంచి మార్కెటింగ్ సౌకర్యాలు కల్పిస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
వ్యవసాయంలో ఆధునిక సాంకేతికత మరియు యంత్రాల వినియోగం పెరగాలని మంత్రి అచ్చెన్నాయుడు ఆకాంక్షించారు. ఇందుకోసం ప్రభుత్వం డ్రోన్లు, ట్రాక్టర్లను సబ్సిడీపై అందిస్తోందని తెలిపారు. పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టును తదుపరి పుష్కరాల కంటే ముందే పూర్తి చేయడానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు నిరంతరం కృషి చేస్తున్నారని, సాగునీటి సమస్యలను శాశ్వతంగా పరిష్కరిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మారుటేరు కేంద్రం అభివృద్ధి చేసిన వరి వంగడాల విశిష్టతను మంత్రి కొనియాడారు. ఇక్కడి శాస్త్రవేత్తలు జాతీయ స్థాయిలో గుర్తింపు పొందడం గర్వకారణమని అన్నారు. కలెక్టర్ చదలవాడ నాగరాణి మాట్లాడుతూ, ధాన్యం కొనుగోలు చేసిన 24 గంటల్లోనే రైతుల ఖాతాల్లో నగదు జమ చేస్తున్నామని వెల్లడించారు. ఈ మేళాలో ఎమ్మెల్యేలు పితాని సత్యనారాయణ, ఆరుమిల్లి రాధాకృష్ణ మరియు ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Minister Atchannaidu also focused on the role of technology in agriculture, encouraging farmers to utilize subsidized machinery like drones and tractors. Regarding irrigation, he stated that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is working tirelessly to complete the Polavaram project before the next Pushkarams. The government aims to modernize canals to ensure a steady water supply for all farmlands.
District Collector Chadalavada Nagarani noted that the administration is ensuring payments for grain procurement are credited to farmers’ accounts within 24 hours. The event, which marked the 100th anniversary of the Maruteru Research Station, saw the participation of MLAs Pitani Satyanarayana, Arumilli Radhakrishna, and several agricultural scientists. The dignitaries also inspected various stalls showcasing modern farming equipment and hybrid seed varieties.
