తెలంగాణ సమాజాభివృద్ధిలో కార్పొరేట్ సంస్థలను భాగస్వామ్యం చేసే దిశగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కీలక అడుగు వేశారు. బుధవారం హైదరాబాద్లో వివిధ ప్రముఖ కంపెనీల ప్రతినిధులతో నిర్వహించిన CM Revanth Reddy CSR Meeting లో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, కంపెనీలు సామాజిక బాధ్యత (CSR) కింద చేసే వ్యయాన్ని కేవలం ఖర్చుగా చూడకుండా, రాష్ట్ర భవిష్యత్తు కోసం చేసే పెట్టుబడిగా భావించాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ముఖ్యంగా విద్యా, వైద్యం, జల వనరుల సంరక్షణ మరియు వారసత్వ కట్టడాల పరిరక్షణకు తమ ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తుందని, ఈ రంగాల్లో కంపెనీలు తమ నిధులను వెచ్చించాలని సూచించారు.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized that corporate spending on social development should be viewed as a partnership rather than an expense. During the high-level CM Revanth Reddy CSR Meeting held with representatives of various corporate companies in Hyderabad on Wednesday, the CM urged leaders to ensure that 100% of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds yield tangible results for society. He highlighted that the state government prioritizes education, healthcare, water conservation, and skill development, inviting companies to invest in these critical sectors.
The CM pointed out that 44% of the state’s student population resides in Hyderabad, and providing them with world-class education is a collective responsibility. To streamline the utilization of CSR funds, a Special Principal Secretary has been appointed to coordinate with corporate houses. During the meeting, major organizations like the Raheja Group and Ramky Group pledged ₹50 crores each, while the Yashoda Foundation committed ₹10 crores towards the advancement of the education sector in Telangana.
Corporate Synergy for a Developed Telangana
The corporate representatives lauded the Chief Minister’s initiative, noting that this was the first time the government had proactively engaged with them to define priority areas for CSR. They expressed keen interest in adopting government schools, improving hospitals, and restoring heritage structures. The Chief Minister suggested that companies should allocate a larger portion of their CSR funds to develop the local areas where their operations are based.
