అమరావతిలో మినీ ఢిల్లీ: రూ. 3,000 కోట్లతో Amaravati Central Secretariat
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతిలో అన్ని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలను ఒకే చోటకు తీసుకువచ్చేలా ప్రభుత్వం “మినీ ఢిల్లీ” ప్లాన్ను సిద్ధం చేసింది. ఢిల్లీలోని ప్రతిష్టాత్మక సెంట్రల్ వెస్టా తరహాలో సుమారు 22.53 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో అత్యాధునిక Amaravati Central Secretariat సముదాయాన్ని నిర్మించనున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం వివిధ అద్దె భవనాల్లో కొనసాగుతున్న 50కి పైగా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ విభాగాలు ఇకపై ఈ ఐకానిక్ భవనంలోకి మారనున్నాయి. పర్యావరణ హితమైన గ్రీన్ బిల్డింగ్ ప్రమాణాలతో, 10 నుంచి 12 అంతస్తుల ఎత్తులో ఈ నిర్మాణాన్ని చేపట్టనున్నారు.

ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును కేంద్ర ప్రజా పనుల శాఖ (CPWD) పర్యవేక్షించనుంది. దీని మొత్తం అంచనా వ్యయం సుమారు రూ. 3,000 కోట్లుగా ఉండవచ్చని సమాచారం. ఇందులో సచివాలయ భవనానికి రూ. 1,299.08 కోట్లు, కేంద్ర ఉద్యోగుల నివాస సముదాయాల కోసం రూ. 1,234.91 కోట్లు వెచ్చించనున్నారు. ఏపీ సీఆర్డీఏ ఇప్పటికే దీని కోసం భూమిని కేటాయించగా, కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ ఈ ప్రతిపాదనలకు ప్రాథమిక ఆమోదం తెలిపారు. ఈ కేంద్ర సచివాలయం అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే పాలనలో వేగం పెరగడమే కాకుండా ప్రజలకు అన్ని సేవలు ఒకే చోట లభిస్తాయి.

కేంద్ర మంత్రి పెమ్మసాని చంద్రశేఖర్ ఈ Amaravati Central Secretariat ప్రాజెక్టు త్వరగా పట్టాలెక్కేలా అధికారులతో నిరంతరం సంప్రదింపులు జరుపుతున్నారు. కేవలం సచివాలయమే కాకుండా, హుడ్కో (HUDCO) ఆధ్వర్యంలో మరో 10 ఎకరాల్లో అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి కన్వెన్షన్ సెంటర్ను కూడా నిర్మించనున్నారు. దీనివల్ల అమరావతిలో జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయి సదస్సుల నిర్వహణకు అవకాశం ఏర్పడుతుంది.
ఈ భారీ ప్రాజెక్టు వల్ల అమరావతిలో ఆర్థిక కార్యకలాపాలు మరింత పుంజుకోనున్నాయి. వేలాది మంది కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు ఒకే ప్రాంతానికి రావడం వల్ల స్థానిక స్థిరాస్తి రంగానికి భారీ ఊతం లభిస్తుంది. అలాగే సేవా రంగంలో ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు పెరిగి, అమరావతి జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ఒక కీలకమైన నగరంగా రూపాంతరం చెందుతుంది. రాబోయే రెండేళ్లలోపు ఈ నిర్మాణాన్ని పూర్తి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకుంది.

The Andhra Pradesh government has prepared a massive blueprint to establish a “Mini Delhi” in the capital city of Amaravati. Aimed at bringing all Central Government offices under one roof, the proposed Amaravati Central Secretariat will be built on approximately 22.53 acres of land, modeled after Delhi’s Central Vista. Over 50 central departments currently operating from various rented premises will shift to this state-of-the-art facility, which will be an iconic green building with 10 to 12 floors.
The project, overseen by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), is estimated to cost around Rs 3,000 crores. Out of this, Rs 1,299.08 crore is allocated for the secretariat building, while Rs 1,234.91 crore is designated for residential quarters for central employees. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has already approved these proposals sent by the Housing Ministry. The integration of all central services into one location is expected to significantly enhance administrative efficiency for the public.
A Milestone for Amaravati’s Growth
Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar has been actively supervising the progress of the Amaravati Central Secretariat to ensure it takes off without delays. In addition to the secretariat, HUDCO has announced the construction of an international-level convention center on another 10 acres. This will pave the way for Amaravati to host national and international conferences, boosting its status as a major administrative and cultural hub.
The construction of this secretariat is set to ignite economic activity in the capital region. The influx of thousands of central government employees will provide a major boost to the local real estate sector and create numerous employment opportunities in the service industry. The government aims to complete the construction within the next two years, marking a significant milestone in making Amaravati a key city on the national map.
